If I can't use my favorite legendaries like my Spare or my new feeding frenzy rampage shotgun from the raid again I'll lose it. You're just doing this to stop us from playing how we want and make everyone play by your rules.
Edit: I've edited my post to be less offensive. I know I've overreacted quite a bit, I just care about this game a lot and I don't want it to go down the drain.
Edit 2: first time top of trending and its because I've made a whining post. Smh

5 답변They won't change this because: 1) Streamers agree with the change 2) They are too lazy to balance more than a few weapons which are usable in trials due to the level cap 3) Streamers agree with the changes

I made a post about this here if you want to read the whole thing, but basically my criticism is that the current RNG of the game is too harsh to put a time limit on acquiring god rolls. If there is not a fundamental rework of loot in some way to accommodate the new system of rotating gear, unlucky people will not be able to get the weapons they want before they just become obsolete.

Bungie didn’t know what to do with the weapons they created in d1 when they started d2 so they blew up the tower. And forced us to use static roles. Then they watched the player base hit rock bottom and re introduced random roles. Now they are clueless with the weapons we have all spent months and months farming so they are going to phase them out every x -> 15 months. Basically blowing up the tower every x months. Nice bungie really nice. I can’t see anyone farming for sh*t in the coming update. What you gonna do when we collect all those weapons in trials make them redundant to. What kind of looter shooter is this. It’s a shooter time based looter.

3 답변A better option would be to nerf the top weapon and add a new one. If they want people to desire and farm that new weapon. Example. Spare rations make aim assist go from 92 —> 63 and reduce the handling/stability on it by 20%. Now introduce a similar weapon that has better stats that people will want. You can still use that old spare rations but the new weapon will be better without introducing power creep. This solves their problem without removing our ability to use said weapon.

1 답변This is what Im for: - Vanguard and Crucible weapons should always be available, no retiring them - Raid weapons should be WAY more unique and powerful (Think Wrath of the Machine weapons) in their respective raid and out of it BUT these are the weapons that get retired - Damage increasing Perks GONE - Weaker/lesser used perks buffed up - Perks synergize with eachother Example: Rocket with Ambitious Assassins and Auto loading would be great if these to perks worked with eachother - Perks that synergize with our Subclass Where D2 currently is, and I HATE to admit this, weapon retiring is needed due to the fact that Bungie has changed their mind on so many things. What I mentioned above is basically a complete rework of our weapons and would be moot if our current weapons would remain. Again I hate the idea of weapon retirement, to an extent, but its needed now to hopefully bring us into a better ago. Now if these “new” weapons are going to have the same perks as in: - Damage Increasing Perks - Weaker/ Lesser Used perks Then retiring weapons is 100% pointless and literally only making us use weapons that LOOK different but have the same perks... which means we will go after the same perks we have now but just on a different gun. The problem is the perks... not the guns. Then we have toxic AF streamers such as Datto and Lono that criticizes and make fun of people that want to use the same weapons because they actually like using the same weapons. Guess what... people like the idea of using the same weapon. The issue right now is that the perks on those weapons are too strong. Personally I would be 100% fine with weapon retirement if Bungie could reliably make weapons that look good to me but this is a me issue. If retired weapon model would be ornaments I would be fine with it but that will never happen.

9 답변작성자: boughdt2 2/28/2020 5:39:57 PMSure having a preferred weapon retired doesn't feel great but doesn't that create a desire to find something to replace it? If you never have to replace a weapon then any new weapons are inherently pointless. It's impossible to make all new loot "better" and you all know it.

1 답변I’m married to my nf so they are basically going to not let my wife be able to grow in the relationship because they are holding her down on the ground, i should sue Bungie for trying to assault my wife....😐😂😂

Its to set up the future weapons releasing more powerful and Bungie not having to worry about releasing some fringe weapon that will break future end game content.

8 답변Yes, let's have power creep and no incentive to chase after loot! That hasn't been one of the issues plaguing this game at all!

작성자: Erijian 2/28/2020 5:59:45 PMBut you can use them, just not in the next year of endgame content. Having to grind new, more powerful gear every major expansion is a fundamental part of an MMO. What's not okay is the layers of RNG attached to said grind which they'll hopefully address when they implement the changes.

You CAN use them, even after retirement, in almost everything. Just not any new Raids or Dungeons, Nightfalls, Trials, or IB. You'll want to actually look at and care about new weapons that come out and find new ones you really like for ENDGAME content only. Your SR and Shotgun will be usable in Quickplay, Strikes, Gambit, Forges, Menagerie, Reckoning, Patrols, Quests (even new ones), all old endgame content (Garden and older raids plus both Dungeons), and in any new, non-endgame content released. You'll have plenty of time with old guns and might actually find new ones you like on top of that

31 답변Ok harp, I like you, so I'm gonna be cool. In d1, I had vex mythoclast year one. Year 2 it became obsolete. By the end of year 2, I got necrochasm. Then it became obsolete. I found other guns to fill the void. And I was happy. And man did it hurt losing them for end game. And you're complaining about finding another god rolled shotgun or hand cannon for end game that you have 9-15 months for? I think you'll be fine. In fact...NONE OF Y'ALL HAVE ROOM TO COMPLAIN. Y'all lose 2 exotics like that before you spout these posts. You. Will. Be. Fine

I was against this at first, but I'm warming up to it. If this means we get better guns, some new perks, some new gun ideas, if the meta keeps changing. Also if guns are stupid powerful, leave them alone, because they will get pushed out in a year. Also to people, saying they can't use their guns in crucible, yes you can, other than ib and trials, light level doesn't matter. I ran pocket infinity, through 3 years in d1.

Please make it a thing, your post literally defines the issue and why it will be a thing, you can’t get over using ur god rolled weapons, so when new weapons come out they have to be better that what ur already using for you to even want them. Adding a cap will give them more flexibility with new weapons and hopefully stop the power creep that ruining the game
