I'm not getting any new launch console. I waited a few month on most except the Xbox One. I got it Day One. With all it's bugs and issues the first few months, and lack of any major games of interest, I'll wait for some time before jumping onto the Xbox X or whatever it's called.

Waiting on some details, but I'll probably buy a PS5. Sony, like Nintendo, can be trusted to provide a high quantity of good (at least) games. You don't get that guarantee from Microsoft. If it has full backwards compatability with all previous PS generations it'll be a day one buy. Otherwise, I'll wait a bit longer.

No reason to at this time. It’s better to wait a year or two when the games become worth it and more than tech demos. Most of the new Xbox games will be on the Xbox One and PC as well. I guess since they will both be backwards comparable and maybe if the current gen games play a LOT bettter, maybe. But will the 400-$500 price tag really be worth it to just replay your old games but slightly better?

Only if there’s something worth playing on it. If the launch titles are decent I might consider it otherwise I’ll probably wait. I’ll probably end up getting the PS5 because I prefer their exclusives. But maybe in a few years I’ll get the Xbox if they have enough decent exclusives to warrant it.
