Empyrean foundation on the road map
Best not expect a unique reward or anything other than the obelisk rewards.
Sad when your actually telling yourself not to get excited for something on the road map. Undying mind 2.0?
Looking at the road map my best guess would be that we will do sundial as normal but instead of going up the lift we will go through the large triangular door at the back of one of the sundial rooms shown on the road map and in there we will fight a different boss in a different Arena.

11 답변How can we ever aim to be excited ever again, when things like roadmaps and seasons even exist? Gone are the days of being excited to see what bungie do to to surprise us. Now, literally everything is advertised to us ahead of time to maximise profits.

It would still be better than the Vex Offensive and the absolute joke that was the final offensive boss. It was a recycled Hydra boss from D1. At least with this it looks to be a new location in the sundial and a different kind of Psion. This is the corner Bungie put itself in when moving to seasonal content. They have to present value of the purchase otherwise people won't buy it. But in doing so this gives away the things that are going to happen. I think the season's would be more critically enjoyable if you went in to it blind and was surprised with what the new thing to do was that week. However how can anyone go oh I'm not sure what is in store for me this season but here's ten bucks anyway. I guess one thing they could do is be a little more vague on the the events and items available in the calendar. Instead of showing us and telling us about Devil's Ruin and Bastion just have the calendar say "EXOTIC QUEST" or a quick run down of what you will get with the purchase such as "6 player co-op event with 3 rotating bosses, new power up mechanics (the obelisks), 2 exotic quests, 2 festival events (dawning and crimson), and a lost guardian needs your help. Vague enough to kind of see where your money is going yet keeping that mystery of what is going to happen when. The way they are doing it now is not working. If nobody knew anything about the Bastion before the puzzle, the puzzle would have been considered a success. But if you read the climax of a book before actually reading it of course it will be a let down and no point to reading it lol

Empyrean foundation won't actually be an activity so much as an event. Sort of like the corridors of time was. Except that the foundation is a charity event that we need to donate fractaline . Donate various amounts and get emblems and shaders. You also get some lore and a triumph if you donate 5K. Expecting anything more is just gong to set yourself up for disappointment. Think undying mind or corridors of time puzzle. Its just going to be something to keep you busy farming fractaline.

3 답변People got excited because they though they were getting imago loop. That's on them. Am I excited? No, just like in S8 I wasn't. But what I am Excited for? Getting my 3 title.

1 답변Are you kidding??? I'm 100% sure there will be at least some new skins, sparrows and emotes. It will all be in eververse of course, so get ready to throw your money at that screen! If we are really lucky, and I mean like superduper lucky, we might have a re-skinned weapon that will take some silly grind to earn and isn't even remotely worth it.

1 답변it's going to be the like the vex offensive - same event, different boss. At best maybe they'll give it the menagerie treatment and they'll let us get even more weapon frames at the end - but i doubt it. Most likely just a checkbox for most players to get their Seal.

That could mean a new exotic possibly...? There’s still a classified exotic in the database

1 답변I actually think it will be more than just a different boss. There's fractaline to "donate" and a shader + emblem to "earn". I guess Bungie does pay attention to carry and recovery ads after all.

...you real? Either way, if it was on the roadmap or not you'd still be disappointed. Either it's a secret with no suprise, or it's a "main event" with no suprise. ... Can't believe this is a thing, why do you people think so little?
