Everyone's entitled to their feelings on the subject. Some people think it's fine, others don't, some people could care less. All are valid because we're all different and have different experiences with the game. I think a surprise exotic is better for a surprise quest especially since nobody anticipated it would be [spoiler] Bastion since it was in the roadmap for best week[/spoiler]. Everybody thought it would something else so the anticipation builds up and that's what we get, who wouldn't be disappointed by that? I think we were all just hoping for something unexpected since the quest itself was.
