I agree that the Skull of Dire Ahamkara was broken before it was nerfed. I do think that Bungie got carried away and over-nerfed this helmet. The helmet needs some love. It doesn’t need to be buffed to pre-nerf levels. It just needs some help with what it’s got currently.

As it stands Skull of Dire Ahamkara is basically useless. You needed it so much that it's not even an exotic anymore at this point. The hunter equivalent to this is the Shards of Galanor. Which basically give Hunters infinite blade barrages especially in Gambit. My biggest qualm is this isn't the first time you over corrected. I used to main middle tree voidwalker and now that you've nerfed it's grenade charge time and cone, oh and let's not forget makes you die if you release it to close to yourself. You ruined my build. If you're not going to fix the issues YOU caused at least don't play favorites. It makes it a lot less fun when you purposely turn a blind eye to the handicaps you placed on us while the Hunter's can preform 2 blade barrages in rapid succession. And before some one says they aren't the same. Yes they are. Both attacks one-shot in the crucible. Both exotics are meant to help you get your super faster. Except if a hunter damages a boss with blade barrage while wearing Shards. They'll get back their super in 2.5 seconds. But if a warlock completely decimates a group of five or more majors we'd be lucky to even get our Nova back a quarter of the way full. TL:DR stop shafting the warlocks and give us our buffs that have long since been overdue. Sincerely, an angry Warlock

Id say just keep the damage resistance, scrap the super energy return and make it to where nova bomb travels farther and faster ( lance from d1 ) that would help out bottom tree nova bomb, since that nova bomb is actual doo doo water. And honestly i would rather run controvers hold with top tree nova bomb.

1 답변It needs an overhaul. Give it the ability to turn Novabomb into a Lance Novabomb with 2x the damage. Or have it buff both versions of Novabomb. Cataclysm gains 2 additional Seekers on detonation, and increases the tracking radius of the Seekers. Vortex Novabomb gains Increased damage radius and duration.

1 답변Skull of Dire Ahamkara barely returns any super energy right now. Max I’ve gotten is like 15-20% after killing hordes of ads. I think it may be possible this exotic is bugged and not working properly? Bungie may want to consider the fact that it’s more efficient to get super regen from a gun with demolitionist and then have ashes to assets on your class item mod. Doesn’t make sense that this would return a lot more super energy than an exotic who’s sole purpose is to return super energy. SMH

After bungie nerfed shards, they we're like that for 3 seasons till bungie finally buffed it. I've come to the conclusion that any exotic that OP, 1st gets a severe nerf and then is thrown on a bungie to do list until they can figure out how to balance it.

If they buff Skull, it'll make Nezarec's obsolete and vice versa. I think it needs a re-work. Maybe make it return super energy based off of damage rather than kills? That way it would function best when using nova bomb to take out yellow bars and bosses, while nezarec's would function better when using nova to take out large groups of ads.

1 답변I agree, I think they could either make it similiar to Shards, and have damage caused by the bomb also generate some super energy, or change it so the player is giving a buff to super recharge based on the number of kills with the Nova bomb, so rather than getting an instant boost we would get a few seconds of increased super gain for each enemy killed with the bomb. Back when it was broken it made you really think about using your Nova when a massive group of enemies showed up, and now with it nerfed you feel like even a big group of enemies killed with the bomb is a waste.

75% super return maximum would be enough for me to consider putting this back on again. Or just let it the helmet prioritize quantity of quality again like it originally did. Shards of Galanor needs a buff on the PvE side of things.
