im having real issues with this whole level up system
so its been 5 weeks now ........yea 5 weeks of me needing one piece of gear to hit max level and it will not drop. ive finally said screw it and uninstalled the game. once you run all end game for the week thats it in terms of available geaqr so really whats the point to continuing. you need something like the old engrams that could increase level as a chance and at least give incentive to carrying on. i feel utterly deflated after 5 weeks of running every single thing for one piece of gear to not drop. also connected...... why is it that only 50% of available drops can be heavy. was it just an oversight not to include a heavy drop in the raid? you have to hope you get it from nightfall, nightmare or pit. thats only 3 potential sources for one piece of gear. while im at this why is the raid so heavily tilted to dropping gun after gun. im sorry this seems a little like a rant but it just feels way off. as one of those guardians that was cursed with the forever 29 curse of vanilla d1 i have to say this is as bad if not worse

Yea me to i can't get any power bonuses . There is a triumph to get 20 im at 14 and can't seem to get anymore. Told me to keep doing bounties. So screwed again so tired of this crap . Im not gonna delete the game but im am gonna stop playing it has now just become a frustrating delema.

This happened to me in d1. I needed a cloak. 8 weeks went by, during which I did the things I could do to earn powerful gear. 4 rewards per week. Each with a weapon and armor. 32 times I got everything but a cloak. That's not random. Random does include repetition, yes, but after enough iterations things have a tendency to balance out. This is like snow falling, but only landing in 4 places.

I’m almost to 980 and have not done a raid to get there. I just played the game so stop bellyaching about how you can’t level up without a specific raid armor piece or something that won’t drop from the weekly activities because I call total BS. Level up your artifact, do tons of bounties for XP and play the game to it’s full potential while having fun in the process. That’s my advice.

6 답변This argument is fundamentally flawed because you're making the claim that you have no reason to play the game if you can't level up. However if you do obtain the piece of gear you need to reach 970 then you can't level up any further and would thus have no reason to play the game.

This has been an issue since D1 and has continued all throughout D2. Even if you're having trouble getting that last piece to max out your Gear Power, the artifact still provides Bonus Power to help get past that hurdle.

I didn't hit max power last season, got stuck at 959. I'm currently not max now, stuck at 969.
