WASHINGTON, D.C.—After yesterday's solemn impeachment procession across the Capitol Rotunda, a procession that was accompanied by 37 elephants, 42 jugglers, three fire sword-swallowers, and one tiny clown car, Mitch McConnell took possession of the articles of impeachment.
McConnell promised to take good care of the impeachment articles, solemnly vowing to place them in a very special rectangular filing bin reserved for impeachment proceedings.
"Madam Speaker, I assure you, we will treat these with all the respect and care they deserve," McConnell said. "We will put them right here along with all the bills the House sends over. We always carefully consider the wacky legislation you send, putting it in this holy, revered shrine as we think about what to do with such fine legislative proposals."
Pelosi breathed a sigh of relief, recognizing the filing bin as the same type she uses to store the Constitution.
its a garbage can. That is the joke.
The Democrats have launched the flimsiest, most blatantly partisan impeachment effort in the history of the country and it's already circling the drain. It's only a matter of time before it gets flushed.
And I think its hilarious that dems barreled ahead with the impeachment inquiry in such a rushed, ham fisted manner citing "urgency" only to sit on the articles for weeks before finally admitting they have no leverage whatsoever and sending them to the senate.
I also find it A M A Z I N G they're crying crocodile tears over "new witnesses and evidence" and are gonna be hysterical when Republicans (probably) dont bother allowing it... after they started it by not allowing witnesses and evidence Republicans wanted to call and present in the House.

1 답변Ok let’s be real Dems would of impeached him on anything they could possibly construe to be a crime And Republicans would acquit him even if he shot Mike Pence in the Oval Office. It’s all a partisan hack job. What’s worrying is all the policies his dumpster fire of an administration is passing while everyone’s busy worrying over the results of a trial that was basically set in stone 3 years ago

I'm all about as many witnesses as possible getting called. I do find it hilarious that the left are now concerned with fair and impartial. When those House Democrats were ignoring fairness and impartiality not only did they not object, they cheered. This tends to be the case in politics, do as I say not as I do and all that. Also, does anyone seriously still believe that the Democrats approached this seriously and solemnly after Pelosi signed each letter of her name with a different pen and was smiling the entire time?

1 답변It’s Satire it’s supposed to be funny! Instead we have Democrats writing essays that nobody reads trying to push their political agenda.
also satire
Like I said, the mere ACT of freezing the aid without Congressional Approval was a crime.
And I think its hilarious that dems barreled ahead with the impeachment inquiry in such a rushed, ham fisted manner citing "urgency" only to sit on the articles for weeks before finally admitting they have no leverage whatsoever and sending them to the senate.
Translation: Its funny that the House under Democratic leadership RESPECTS the Constitution and wants to protect the integrity of our country's election from "Foreign entanglements (interference)". While the Senate under McConnell's domination wipes its ass with self-same Constitution on a daily basis. Because the Senate Majority Leader basically stated that he was going conduct a SHAM trial with no witnesses, and no cross examination (by either side) of said witness In short, that it was going to be the Impeachment equivalent of Jury Nullification. Got it.
I also find it A M A Z I N G they're crying crocodile tears over "new witnesses and evidence" and are gonna be hysterical when Republicans (probably) dont bother allowing it... after they started it by not allowing witnesses and evidence Republicans wanted to call and present in the House.
Friendly reminder. NO authoritarian regime lasts forever. There will be a Democratic President and a Democratically appointed Attorney General in the near future. Which means ALL this stuff will eventually come to light, and there won't be a chorus of Republican enablers trying to hide it. And it will also mean that that same Democratic Administration can now just show its ass, and thumb its nose at any attempts from Republicans with regards to Congressional Oversight. So yes. Congratulate yourselves for MURDERING the Congress as a co-equal branch....and any transparency in government.
Friendly reminder that the reason Democrats wanted to wait was because the Senate Majority Leader outright said that he wasn't going to be an impartial juror, and was working with the defendants in regards to what will be in the trial.

And in other news... Leemu the Emu and Doug have announced their official bid for the White House, running as Independents they believe it gives Leemu the best shot at obtaining enough votes for a certain victory... Democrats object in the House "charging" that Leemu isnt a natural born citizen of the United States...
