Ok, I think we can all say that we’re getting pretty tired of dying in less than half a second to an Erentil. Well boys I bring a solution for this. If you have any ideas to make it better, or any criticism, feel free to mention it, but otherwise here we go
Backup Plan (Current): Halves charge time after swapping weapons
My idea: Brings all fusions to a bass impact of 60-65 (at least a 5 bolt kill), and halves charge time after swapping
I know this could definitely be improved upon, but I think this would give some other archetypes some time to shine, opting for a faster speed and therefore faster kill. Because all impacts would be the same with backup plan, you would have to decide if you wanted speed or range for your kill.
I think this idea has a lot of potential, and I would love to see how it would work In our current sandbox! I have other ideas for backup plan (like maybe reduces the recoil direction to close to 0 instead for it to be horizontal), but hey I’ll let y’all do the talking

Dedicated fusion players learn to manage charge time which makes BUP a waste in that slot and it’s better to run range finder for more consistency.

Also, if players are so worried about getting killed in 4 bolts, run tier 7 or higher resilience. At this point players are complaining for the sake of complaining. “Bungie, remove backup plan, it’s too strong.” In other words: “Bungie, I like to straight line and ape with my shotgun, but backup plan makes that incredibly difficult for me. Please nerf it so I can continue my aping ways.”

I’d have it also give a -15 range reduction. You can then spec your fusion to be a shotgun close range counter or a long range one shot you use as a primary (the fusion ape play style). Currently, being able to do both things effectively is a bit too good. Plan B should only work on your first shot also, none of this double tapping we get now.

2 답변작성자: an Ape with a d2 addiction 1/15/2020 1:37:33 PMIn my opinion they should just replace it with quickdraw. Faster swap so you can quickfix the mistake of having a wrong gun out but retains the (purposeful) fusion playstyle shortcomings. BP was originally an exotic perk for a reason.

Since the problem only persists in PvP, the solution should be targeted at only effecting PvP. I would agree back up plan has to go from High Impact Frame fusions. Quickdraw or snapshot would make a fine replacement in the slot. As for the range stat of Erentil, perhaps a minor dip of like 3-5 would be okay and yet still keep it an option.

4 답변Perks like QuickDraw, Snapshot, Backup Plan, High Impact Reserves, Under Pressure, and Slideshot do not belong on special weapons. They incentivize using special weapons as a "get-out-of-jail-free" card instead of being something you use for scenarios where you NEED high damage, like dealing with Supers.
