How many vets are there of d1?
Ive been playing destiny 2 but my interest is really starting to fall off. Im thinking of going back to d1 and completing all the quests that dont require a team. What are your thoughts on destiny 2 so far?
Edit: nice to see so many of you. I have another question for you all to answer. How would you feel if they merged d1 and d2 to make 1 evolving world like they said in d2 shadowkeep vidoc?

4 답변작성자: thatdudeEd54 1/15/2020 3:49:53 PMIve done everything in the d1. I get on just to find nothing to do except replay activities, grind for stuff I havent acquired yet like the Kings Falls or WoTM Sparrows? Ect. Its no different to my current situation in D2.

5 답변Destiny biggest problem which is the same as the first one that quest are being made mandatory and you as a player don’t have real choice ... I thought they would’ve changed it by now but bungie is as predictable as ever. I said this back in the first game that the game is dying a slow death due to the decisions have been made by the higher ups and it seems that I was right all along. If you ask me what needs to happen destiny it self needs one serious shake up to get it back on track or this game will become another no man’s sky

Interest fall-off happens- period, regardless of what game you play. I had over 7k hours of playtime in D1 (on PS4) and have everything I wanted from the game. I loved it, but have absolutely no desire to go back, especially once you get used to the buttery smooth frame rates on PC. I actually tried to play D1 on my PS4 Pro a while ago, just for nostalgia's sake, and it was a HORRIBLE experience. My eyes were shot trying to adjust to the abysmal frame rate and low-end graphics. How I played that game like that for that many hours is beyond me!! lol. Now if D1 was remastered for PC....

Been playing since the beta of Destiny 1. If you want to go back and try Destiny 1 go ahead and do so, but don't expect it to be the same as it once was since most people have moved on to Destiny 2. If you have a group of friends that are willing to go into D1 with you then that may be really fun for you experiencing it for the first time. If you can get the full collection of D1 for cheap go for it.

Since D1 beta here. I took a long break from D2 right after Curse of Osiris released and came back right before Forsaken. The game is in much better shape. IMO where D2 vanilla should have been. Still the most frustrating thing about D2 comes to Bungie's own shortcomings - no dedicated servers and refusing to balance PVE and PVP separately. Overall I'm having fun with the game.

작성자: The 7th fall 1/15/2020 2:26:01 PMIf D1 had more players I'd go back to that, otherwise I uninstalled D2 because it's turning into such a choresome job. In D1 I raided every week on all three characters, did ToO each week for 3 months, went through Iron Lagger every chance I got, did every exotic quest up until Iron Lagger/Siva DLC(was too bored to try that), and just flat out enjoyed my time overall. I try Destiny 2 around 3 months ago, kept playing until last week and happily unistalled it because it is nothing more than an unpleasant job that demands all of your attention.

5 답변D1, hands down. D2 feels like an amusement park full of treats, D1 has the rough, dark edge to it's story and feel.

I played since the closed alpha test for Destiny 1 on PS4 My thoughts on D2 are I don't care about it at all. Nothing is memorable. I dislike nearly every change they made for D2. If somebody asked me which game to buy I would tell them D1 despite it having events turned off and features removed. D2 feels less like a real place then ever before. It's just a mess of garbage playlists to launch. The story has also become so fantasy heavy it feels like anything can happen for whatever garbage reason they feel like saying. I don't care at all what happens anymore. I'm just waiting for the next god to clinch his butt cheeks hard enough they create a new pocket dimension for bungie to stick the next game mode playlist.

Started during the first queen’s wrath in vanilla D1. Play less than I used to, but maybe that’s better. I no longer look at every activity as something that has to be completed. I have almost everything in the game weapon wise, but I’ll let them no lifers bake cookies.

2 답변D1 = quality D2 = quantity D1 = original star wars trilogy D2 = either of the rubbish trilogies. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy d2 and the abundance of content (and this is coming from someone who hasn't purchased any content since forsaken) But d1 is so much more solid. I went back to d1 for several months after the o rig nerf and really enjoyed it but I've done almost everything a solo player can do, I started to miss the feeling of working/grinding towards something. D2 did bring some much needed additions (ledge grab, maps etc) but I will always prefer d1.

i came from d1 and i miss some of the elements that aren't in d2 like armsday orders, CoE and others but i'm getting used to d2 now but the grind here is real but tbh more rewarding than d1. getting those god rolls in d1 was a nightmare for me for stuffs like eyasluna, grasp of malok etc. last time i was on d1 i got the exotic FWC cloak for my hunter then hopped into d2 on the 2nd week of FOTL
