You never stood a chance and now you're even outclassed by primary sidearm (Devil's Ruin). Not only in the ability to stagger unstoppable champions but damage and charge time too.
Bungie really hates bows.

They nerfed it before it got released. The Shadowkeep ViDoc showed what it could have done, but a small little explosion that knocked enemies was deemed "too much" by the dev in that video. Xenophage got a buff, but I'm still not going to take it out of Collections.

1 답변Not really. I’m not going take Devil’s Ruin into any activity with Unstoppable Ogres. It does fine against Centurions and Minotaurs. But against Orges a bow is perfect.

1 답변Personally I think while Devil's Ruin is good Leviathan's Breath is better. It absolutely melts stuff way better. Consistent fast stun lock, great AOE, high range, easy to use. Not to mention you're at way less risk using it than Devil's Ruin. Also unlike Devil's Ruin you're going to OHK every super pretty much every time in PvP. The main thing about both of these is after you fire your arrow or use the laser you're incredibly vulnerable and have to switch weapons in many situations.

1 답변Leviathans has high damage, AOE, and allows you to run a shotgun and an Anti-Barrier weapon all in the same loadout. Devil's Ruin is trash. Only place it has purpose is in crucible cause even if you could use it PVE you are giving up an exotic slot on a gun that the only purpose is to stop unstoppables. Before you get mad just remember if you want to be a dedicated unstoppable stunner, use a legendary pulse or scout rifle, a shotgun, and your choice of exotic heavy weapon. Or if you want to be all around use Leviathans Breath, a pulse or scout with Anti Barrier, and a shotgun or sniper to trash any enemy that is stunned. You could also run the void unstoppable stun melee perk and just have to run a legendary Anti-Barrier, shotgun, and any exotic you want. Devils Ruin is literally the exact opposite of RIP for Leviathans Breath or any gun for that matter. In PVP it is god like able to smash supers in mere seconds so at least it isn't a total piece of garbage.

작성자: GabZoool 1/8/2020 5:17:58 PMI like it. It has infinite range, accurate and great crit dmg. U can stagger a gambit boss nonstop with each and every arrow if u land crits. The stagger and its short cooldawn is way more stronger than other weapons. And the other underrated thing on it is ammo economy. Scavenger, bow ammo finder and reserves cost only 2 power. With one reserve on chest and 2 scavengers on boots the bow has 12 arrows. And the big power ammo block gives 6 and the small from bow ammo finder 3. And of course u combine this with a legendary bow. Does not reach GOD TIER sword damage and ammo economy where 1 ammo block gives u 30+ sword atacks but yeah swords are best in game now at least for horde modes.

LB is like 70% of the way baked. Cool knockback effect, nice to hit unstoppables, has purpose in Gambit, but as a heavy ammo weapon, it feels severely under-classed for a precision weapon. Personally, I'd like to see a significant flat precision damage increase, something beyond the AoE blast, whether it be a DoT effect or something else, and a reduction in draw time. It'd be OK if that was through a catalyst.

3 답변Off topic, but when Symmetry came out. Didn't it stagger as well? I don't think it is working anymore. Could be wrong though.

작성자: The 7th fall 1/8/2020 1:10:06 PMHmm even though the sidearm does have overload and it opens up your heavy slot for a more consistent heavy for damage I still like the heavy bow more. Plus you could use a shield piercer scout rifle and have a shotgun or fusion rifle for damage in a nightfall or sundial, or hell even use a sniper for damage too. More options with Leviathan's Breath than there is with the sidearm.
