Why is there no matchmaking on the legendary sundial mode. I was going for the seal for this season and actually getting invested in the game... I think being called saviour trev9419 sounds kinda cool. But because there's no matchmaking im locked from doing the legendary Psion triumph when oblivions triune comes out. If this doesn't change its honestly kinda rubbish. I feel like I've wasted my time and I don't really want to play the game anymore.
It's 2020 guys every mode should have in game matchmaking.

1 답변Bungie if you're reading, please add optional matchmaking. It generally takes an hour to get a group together which is more time than playing the activity. Require a minimum light level, require a certain number of regular completions to queue for heroic, require nothing, whatever. Just PLEASE, pretty please, add optional matchmaking to all difficulties. I have been hoping this would eventually be added. You were going in the right direction with matchmaking in the ordeal to an extent but I can't be silent anymore. It's very frustrating with the holidays being over (no more time off work) and having to spend hours finding ppl for these activities when it should take a few minutes of random matchmaking.

But the sundial has a matchmaking mode...the only things that dont have matchmaking are the dungeons and raids and these should have matchmaking modes. Easy modes have matchmaking Harder modes require premade Literally how every style of mmo game does it. Bungie is just missing 2 modes. So as you see there is optional matchmaking.

21 답변작성자: Hugs 1/8/2020 3:09:19 AMPersonally, I don't agree with any arguments against having matchmaking in the game. I mean, really. It makes zero difference to those of who you ALREADY have to put a team together. Literally nothing changes for you. You still group up with your friends or clan members and set out to conquer your raid, etc. so why would you ever argue in preventing others from being able to play the game, too? Some people (not me, so save your childish arguments...you know who you are) are unable to find a team to play with; consider new players to the game. Additionally, consider the value of immediately diving right into the action via an in-game mechanic rather than having to use some 3rd party app (LFG, Discord, etc.) to build a fireteam. Time is so valuable. People simply want to play. The only argument I see possibly making sense is if Bungie is restricting matchmaking for the health of the community. By this I mean: Destiny is a game that, by design, promotes playing with friends, clan members, and fellow guardians more than it promotes playing solo. But the very fact that you can still enjoy playing the game solo kind of defeats this argument. Ultimately, I think “optional matchmaking” is a beneficial in-game mechanic that should be added for all activities. Feel free to share your thoughts, while being respectful.

8 답변I am like you, in the thinking that FORCING people to go find a group, and disabling matchmaking, SHOULD NOT BE A FORM OF DIFFICULTY!!! This is simply the dagger in the back that is causing Destiny to bleed its fanbase. I was all sorts of excited to try the new sundial... I fired up the game, grabbed some bounties, and went to the menu screen to find that I need 5 more people. It's Noon on Tuesday... everyone else is at work or 1000+ miles away with garbage connection to me. It's 2020. The technology exists to do these things for a reason. The reason to omit Matchmaking in favor of forcing socialism on introverts that play video games, is not the approach that I would invest money in.

2 답변I agree that everything but raids should have optional matchmaking like how the Haunted Forest was. I didn't see ANYONE complaining that the HF had optional matchmaking. It literally impacts NOBODY in a negative way. You prefer to roll the dice with randoms, you got it. You want to LFG, you got it. You want to bring your own team, you got it. You want to solo it, you got it. It amazes me how many people are against matchmaking. Get over yourself. You don't like it, don't use it.

Matchmaking should be on activities except raids period. Menagerie and the Sundial are easy compared to the complexity of a raid, you 100% can complete it with randoms IF they are the right level. Just put a minimum level to join and you’d be fine

5 답변I don’t raid, so pinnacle levels don’t matter very much to me (besides season artifact power levels). Therefore, I for example haven’t run a single legendary NF etc. pinnacle activity because I couldn’t be bothered to go LFG (and our clan is small and not into those activities either). I’m lazy. IMO they should either integrate LFG to the game or have optional matchmaking (even though success rate would likely be lower), or preferably both.

27 답변작성자: Hells Assailent 1/8/2020 12:54:02 AMI made a post the other day about how every mode should have OPTIONAL MM and it got downvoted to hell and picked on. Bungie has been ignoring this issue and feedback since Destiny 1.

2 답변Buddy *sigh* ya' ever think it's part of the challenge? If it matchmade it would be just like normal sundial.

3 답변only thing kept me playing last season was grinding for the undying seal,i was going for this seasons seal then bump noticed no mm on legendary, so now i have the exotic sidearm (20 min quest ffs lol) and apart from bastion quest i cant see anything to keep me playing the rest of this season

I think the reason some don't like LFG is because it adds a little pressure. Matchmade you're just some anon no one remembers, no one notices, no one cares. LFG sometimes they make you get on party chat or they look at your stats or they boot you. There's just a little more pressure when you've been selected to join by an actual person and are taking someone's spot vs just randomly thrown in there, or even if you're not chatting or don't have a mic you can hear them and now they're "real" vs some random matchmade blueberries. I understand most don't feel that, for some it's a social anxiety thing too.

Ask your clan? Also considering how aggravating it is when you get an AFK player (often) a player that does terrible (often), and/or a player that just ignores mechanics and does their own thing (most often), no. Cause I don’t want the player that craps around, or the troll, or the asshole. Your only as locked out as you allow yourself.

작성자: Rogueseiferv2 1/8/2020 11:43:55 PMCommunity- we shouldnt have to use an app or third party site to read lore about the game Also community - it is perfectly acceptable to use an app or third party site to find teams to play the game Never change guys

2 답변Played it with the clan and cleared it. It should NOT have matchmaking. Lol. It was extremely fun tho. Good job.

No matchmaking on this activity means it will be another part of the game I won't be playing, sadly. I have played since D1 and have been in several clans and have used LFG on occasion, but too many bad experiences over the years have made me just want to play solo. Matchmaking should be in every part of the game, except maybe raids. Menagerie and Sundial are not difficult at all for a group of randoms to complete. Bungie are just forcing us, as usual, to play their way or not at all. 🙄
