Clan name unfairly reported?
Getting tired of all this back and forth toxicity. All we want is for someone from Bungie or the mods to discuss the issue with us. Plain and simple. If they say the issue is with the word Lesbian then fine. We’ll accept that answer because it is an answer. If it is to do with the slang “definitions” and perceived intentions of our name, again fine. It’s at least an answer though it is not one that I would deem even remotely fair since that was not our intention.
As it is, we have heard nothing from the mods and that is what is frustrating us. My clan and I will no longer argue since that is obviously a pointless endeavor. Consider the case closed until a mod responds.
Oh and thanks for new discord nickname. Loving Entitled Cupcake since that’s what you seem to think I am. Cheers Guardians.

1 답변Is Bungie now just banning solely based off of some salty players' reports? It's hilarious that a game that sells pride pins is deeming the word "lesbian," which is a descriptor of one's sexual orientation, as offensive or risque. I'd call this borderline harrassment at this point. It certainly seems like discrimination.

1 답변Judging by your various edits you've made one thing pretty clear, and that is that no possible explanation Bungie could possibly give would be satisfactory for you. Here's the long and short of it. Lesbian, despite being a widely accepted term used by people all around the world is a world that carries a sexual connotation with it. It is a term used to describe a homosexual woman, and if someone were to tell you "Tokyo is a lesbian." you would probably be able to guess what I get up to in my free time, and you would also probably be able to guess that it's pretty NSFW. Now, with that being said, I would like to think that you're at least aware that your clan name is a bit more risque than the average clan name. It's not like your clan leader didn't know what they were doing and that this was a great big oopsie. It paints a picture and that picture isn't very family friendly, even if being homosexual is widely accepted and normal in most developed countries. Do you have every right to be annoyed? Yes. But your clan name is banned so you can either pick a new one or keep trying to die on this hill.

4 답변Just because something is largely accepted doesn't mean you can't be offended by it. TBH if I saw your clan name in game I likely would have reported it because it may be acceptable in society but I as a person think it doesn't belong in this game. I report names 5-10 times a day because of the special characters people use on PC to make innapropriate stuff contstantly. It's not unfair to get a clan name banned because if enough people report it bungie notices and then they approve the name ban.

33 답변It's getting banned, because it's getting reported. It's getting reported because it can be deemed risque by some. Something tells me you know darn well why it's getting reported. Also, this isn't an issue for #help and may get better traction by changing your tag to #feedback.
