BANNED and NO IDEA WHY
Tried to get on today and game crashed before I could select my character. Tried again and now got a message saying my Account has been banned. I don't use any third party programs besides discord and spotify lol... so I'm REALLY hoping this is a mistake and temporary because I have invested in Destiny since D1 and this is really disappointing. Please look into this because I've put wayyyy too much money into this for me to get "accidentally" banned.

Doing something once / 1 time does not lead to a restriction or ban unless you are using code injecting software or cheating in some way. Connection based restrictions or bans you are given a warning about your connection first before any restriction or ban is places. [u]Bungie investigates accounts before they hand out any restrictions or bans[/u]. After investigating your account, they found a reason. They will not remove this restriction/ban. On the occasions they do respond, the answer will give a date and a very brief reason which will be one of the following below. 1. Cheating 2. Any software being detected by Destiny while it's running. These could include Trainers, Aimbots, Auto-fire, Mods, Graphics Hacks, Network Accelerators anything that injects code into games. 7 답변Typically, pc bans are due to [i]software detected by Destiny 2 while running[/i]. These include but not limited to, trainers, aimbots, auto-fire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. any of these could cause a ban, [b]even if not destiny 2 specific.[/b] There has also been an increase in bans due to [i]Network Manipulation[/i]. These are usually caused by you or a member of your pre-made fireteam doing something... less than honorable behind the scenes of your matches. If it was not you, then it was a member of your team and Bungie has no real way to determine how much or little you knew about the player who was doing it, but it should have been obvious is that something fishy was going on. One of the biggest indicators of network manipulation and the largest red flag to bail out of your team is when your enemy loses 1 or more players in numerous matches. This is the alarm to save your account and bail out of the team Since Bans are manually reviewed before being placed, the actual cause of the ban could have been any play session over the past few weeks. [b] Account restrictions and bans are only done in extreme cases; if actions were taken against your account, then it was with reason. Are you sure that you were banned or restricted? On pc there are many thing that can get you banned. Are you using a network booster,aimbot, mods,cheat engine is running(it doesn't have to be designed for destiny for it to try to inject code into destiny), were you restricted for bad connection with this being the third/final,any background stuff that injects code like wireshark or stuff you would normally have for a class? Your comp history for the most part is clean so it can't be wintrading. Were you playing with someone who cheats?
