Bungie, don't you think you're overreacting? The problem with the contract is that for an entire match you may not even have an attempt to fulfill it. It's absolutely annoying. I see people suffering as much as I do. Everyone is stomping around heavy ammunition in the hope of getting an attempt to move it off the ground. When a bunch of people try to chew out their own throats for the sake of trying, it doesn't test your game skills in any way. It's just infuriating. It reminds me of the old MMO, where there were queues to kill a monster quest that appears 1 time a day.
P.S. This is the most disgusting thing that has happened to Destiny 2 in recent times.

5 hours of brainless dying at hevy spawn .. knowing u fail your team if they play to win match.. STUPID! BUNGIE! DO YOU THINK ONLY NO SKILL MELE TITAN KIDS WILL BUY YOUR GAME? titan can infinite fly, titan can run thru strike, gambit, pvp match on all map with super, invincibility, titan can se thru walls, titan can melt bosses with 1 hit, .. titan can do this qest step with bubble, other classes like clowns die at hevy.. i quit this stupid qest and iron baner, i hate pvp, few my friends who liked pvp have quit this game becouse of idiocy being overpowered on every step by no skill titan kids.. maybe dev kid play titan and daddy is making game for his kid, idk.. this is just stupid..

This is an absolutely idiotic quest step. This one sub-step has taken me more matches then other full steps. It’s pointless to have players fighting for 3 total spawns to get 1 shot each IF they even get it. Just ran 3 matches with my team obtaining one spawn. Bungie really needs an entirely new PvP team. The current ones are putting no thought into this.

작성자: Tr1ckst3r 12/30/2019 6:42:15 PMYeah I'm calling it a quits for this last part of the quest.. Not wasting anymore time on this.. Now every one's just camping heavy ammo spawner and ignoring mission objectives. It became a stupid game mode just for the sake of getting 1 piece of ammo..

작성자: TIME_4_A_WIN 12/30/2019 5:16:38 PMI use to enjoy Iron Banner, but this quest step turned from enjoyment to dam right annoying. Everyone camping heavy and not playing the game as it should be. I won’t be waiting my time on this quest step, just for some shiny new armour set. I turned to playing the new Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. I enjoyed the storyline and quest steps throughout. It is a must for any Star Wars fan.

YEAH!!! I totally agree with you, I ended up getting the 10 RL kills by playing IB, not killing anyone ie: being passive waiting for a RL ammo drops and then using the pathetic 1 shot using Wardcliff. It took a while but I got the 10 kills, playing the passive thing was like me protesting against Bungie's stupidity. Today I am finding the same problem with killing a Cabal Champion to get a miserable bounty from Saint 14. When I try to kill the Cabal Champion I find my self hamstrung by countless other player trying the same. This smells like Bungie meddling in gameflow all over again, I wish I was a Billionaire cause I would buy Bungie and enslave all those idiots doing this to the game!!!

3 답변Not sure if it was laziness or hubris on Bungie's part. Heavy spawn, either need to have more than one spawn point and or it was always on tap.

1 답변The rocket launcher quest is an absolute sh|t show. #removetherocketlauncherkillsstep

5 답변Just found a cheap way to complete the rocket bounty. I switched to my Titan sentinel and used the top tree bubble. Wait until about 6-7ish seconds and pop a bubble over heavy. Saw a Titan do it a few games ago and they had heavy the whole game.

작성자: iflytii 12/30/2019 6:52:15 AMMy problem, as already pointed out by many, is that quest steps like this detract from the game. I don't mind being challenged to play outside my normal loadout, as long as the gameplay is good but in my opinion, this particular series of quests doesn't promote good gameplay. So now, 2 characters done, I have for the first time debated if I want to do "that" again and even attempt to finish all three characters. I didn't have too much difficulty with any of the steps, and even though the rocket launcher step took a little longer than I would have hoped, I got it done, twice. In the process, however, the gameplay sucked. If you get stuck with a couple of the many selfish players who have zero interest in playing the objective of the game so they can finish their quest "faster", you are probably going to lose. So many people just running past the zones not capturing. So many people quitting when they realize their teammates aren't playing the objective. It's really quite sad because it completely ruins the game for those who try and finish the quests within the framework of the game. I look forward to Iron Banner weeks and I hope Bungie can look at this one and come to the conclusion that perhaps they made a mistake and adjust future quests to be more integral to actually playing the game.

2 답변I don't understand why do people complain this much about that simple step. NO! YOU DON "HAVE" TO CAMP THE HEAVY AMMO DISPENSER It's incredibly easy to kill the dumb guys camping the heavy dispenser and then get the ammo. Done my 3 characters in a day and then after that did about 800 extra kills Knowing where and when to find a rival it's like fishing in a barrel

That quest line took some focus from me. First off, I never ever go for heavy when playing crucible and the other thing is I never use rocket launchers in the crucible. The first 4 games I played, I totally forgot about the heavy until I kept capping all the zones and no one was around. Then it dawned on me, everyone was camping heavy. The next 12 games or so was getting destroyed trying to pick up heavy. That was frustrating and it was all for nothing. I didn't get s h i t for my troubles. This was been the worse IB since returning, loot wise. My pinnacles was 2 special weapons, and 2 primary. Did nothing for me really. I would have rather had armour pinnacles instead.

1 답변I for one have stopped playing Iron Banner. I already feel I am grinding pretty hard to get tokens and complete other bounties, so I in no way should also be required to complete a quest just to turn in said tokens once I have earned them. Having a mandatory quest associated with turning in tokens is arbitrary and pointless, not to mention the last step is dependent on a multitude of factors as it involves rocket launcher kills. Not sure who did the math, but 12 people in a timed match, waiting on a ammo that only appears in a certain location at certain intervals during that match makes it feel lifeless and the reality of actually getting the ammo next to impossible, much less getting the 10 kills needed. I recommend either making quest optional, for some sweet gear, or taking it out completely. Making individuals that are already earning tokens also earn the right to turn in the tokens sucks the joy out of playing the match.

4 답변This Iron Banner should have been Clash Mayhem with all the Heavy spawn points being opened all the time. I think people would have fun then destroying each other with their Supers and Rocket Launchers. That quest would take no time for everyone.

작성자: Serocybin 12/30/2019 5:31:14 AMIB just gives me IBS nowadays. I remember back in Destiny 1 when I used to look forward to Iron Banner. I'd get home as soon as I could from school just to grind it out on all my characters. Now, I just don't feel like doing it at all. First of all, I need to get a team to coordinate and secure heavy for this part of the quest-line, and I simply do not feel like doing that. I always seem to get paired up with randoms that are either AFK or have blue gear; all while being paired up against full stack lobbies of OG Destiny players (with rare and matching emblems to top it off). The balance is atrocious in Iron Banner, and it's rigged against solo queuers. In my opinion, it looks like a punishment for solo players. 10 games in a row, and that's how it was for me. I'm not a bad player either. Nonetheless, I really am starting to believe that Bungie is beginning to feel pretty salty against the community right now (especially against solo players, because thats not a vision for their visionless game). All of this just feels like a passive aggressive move by them against the cry babies crying for nerfs in this toxic community. If it were anymore obvious, they would've asked for 777,777 rocket kills to get the quest done. Bungie, please grow up. I've been supporting them since Halo: Combat Evolved and now I question myself after grinding out anything in this game. Nothing feels as genuine as the old Halo or D1 days- not even close. This game just lacks that "30 seconds of fun" rule they used to have back at Bungie. Great lore. Season of the Dawn brought a rich character back to life, and I love the story but I hope they add an edge to crucible and IB down the line because I don't even play it anymore. I'd rather not kill gaming for myself as a whole out of boredom and frustration.

Yeah, I can’t even touch heavy any games now. Try and put a shield up and dead. Now titans are using a bubble so it’s game over. I wonder how many players will have incomplete bounties and your tokens are useless cuz you can’t turn them in. Whoever thought to put a ridiculous quest in order to turn in crap tokens should be fired ASAP.
