In my opinion, my favourite has come to be Bloodborne over the years although no discredit to the trilogy, they’re fantastic games in their own rights but I find BB to be everything I look for in one of these games, a good skill curve, difficult and challenging enemies, incredible lore and storytelling, good fashion for the most part and viability in almost every area of atttributes.
What’s your favourite game?

작성자: IMADAJ 12/29/2019 7:17:00 PMI’ve only played DS 1 and 2. The first was absolutely amazing. I finished it mostly blind because I got stuck on the 4 Kings boss fight. Everything else was on my own. Overcoming the challenges and the blind exploration felt epic. I was never able to really get into the sequel. There is no one thing that turned me off to it. Just a death by 1000 cuts I guess. (No pun intended). I want to try DS3 because it’s highly rated but DS2 has left a bad taste in my mouth. A lot of people said to skip the sequel and go right to the 3rd so I will eventually. I’m not done with the series. (My wife would kill me if I bought ANOTHER game right now so I’ll have to wait a little longer lol)

2 답변Bloodborne, tied with Skullgirls, is my favorite game of all time. I love Lovecraftian horror.

Dark Souls. I have a feeling that Bloodborne is the objective best, and would probably be my favourite too, if I was to push through and finish it for once. Dark Souls really made an impact on me though and, clearly, on the rest of the gaming industry too. It's far from perfect, but it's also one of those special games everyone needs to finish at least once.

1 답변It's actually Crest like as Demon souls took it's foundation from that game way back in the 80's.

Although I was really trash at it, I loved Dark Souls 3. My friend did help me during most of it which ruined my solo experience with it but it was still fun. I am currently playing Code Vein and its a bit different but still pretty interesting. The different builds you can make in the game made the gameplay really fun because of the big variety.

작성자: DemonicChronic 12/28/2019 9:30:22 PMProbably the one that coined the term, Dark Souls itself. The world design and layout is really incredible. Unfortunately From Software never seemed to quite capture that again in the other Souls games. I haven't played Bloodborne as I don't own a PS4. I hate when third party devs make console exclusive games.

2 답변작성자: concreteninja85 12/28/2019 4:35:42 AMIt could be a toss up between DS1 and DS3 for me, for nostalgia and influence I'd go with DS1, for purely quality reasons I'd go with DS3. They're all fantastic games though, I think any of them could really take that top spot, it just kind of comes down to very small personal gripes with the others that take it from being the best in the series for me.

Sekiro for me with ds3 as a close second. I love the way sekiro’s combat works, and the story is amazing. Even though there are less customization options, it feels like there’s a lot more choice in how to take on individual situations throughout the game. The boss fights are also spectacular.

1 답변Honestly I used to hate Sekiro and now I just adore it. It has great characters, which I think can be missed, and the story is really great at making you feel invested. There’s also the fact that you are not levelling up stats like dark souls, but rather you are getting abilities that aren’t necessarily better then earlier game abilities, but it depends on how you use them. And that’s the thing, this game becomes easier when you’ve gotten better, not when you’ve increased a number. Yes, there are the health and attack increases, but it still depends on learning how the game works and how best to approach your enemies. Just an amazing game!
