Change the date/time on your console so that when you travel to the obelisk there is nobody else in your instance (this works every time) I've been able to get it to work both ways. BTW, the entire company is virtually on vacation until after New Years, so you're on your own.

I say Nexus point because part of the quest is you have to complete a timelost bounty for each obelisk. literally on the tower obelisk it says the vanguard uses this unknown point to study its origin. That sounds like a universal obelisk that is a Nexus point to all of them. if you think about it it makes sense that the tower obelisk should allow players to rank up through the universal obelisk. I even questioned bungee about this on Twitter because it's idiotic you can purchase Bounties but you can't rank up

Also the only solution we have is that either you go to orbit and go back to the European dead zone obelisk or just fast travel to that location multiple times. The reason I mentioned the tower obelisk it's because literally for the quest to unlock it ask the tower the quest literally advertised this obelisk as a universal obelisk that is a ness's point for all of the obelisk

This wouldn't be a problem if the tower obelisk allowed you to rank up all of the obelisk at the tower. I find it to be very stupid that from the tower obelisk you can purchase bounties you can purchase timelost bounties for each obelisk but you can't rank up, you have to go to those particular locations to do so. If the tower obelisk was a secondary way to access the e d z obelisk we could easily ignore the bug. I mean seriously look how bad the servers are it just seems like to me Bungie made these tweets talking about the issues on Twitter, but they decided not to fix them before they went on for the Christmas holiday. Even though these issues occurred before they left... Poor management. that's one of the fundamental reasons why every time we have a sequel in this franchise it fails because of poor management Example back in 2016 6 months before 2017 Destiny 2 was rebooted. we originally had a different story line and a different version of Destiny 2 it was replaced because the director left the franchise. yes we had a director that wasn't Luke Smith. Around this time the original developers of Destiny 1 also left the company. The reason poor management. the fact that Bungie are ignoring these issues we are dealing with this month in the game instead of fixing it they just addressed it is poor management. It just shows their lack of caring.
