37 답변You do realize that being **Impeached** is not the same as being removed from office, right? The cornerstome of a democracy is that NO ONE----no matter how wealthy or powerful---is above the law. That we are a nation of LAWS....not powers and priviliege. The Impeachment of Trump shows that there are at least some of us who are willing to stand up for and defend that principle. Especially those Democrats in swing districts who are willing to risk their own jobs in order to make a principled stand. That is to be celebrated, even if he isn't removed from office. What is sad is that (apparently) 40% of the country has become so small, so mean and so scared....that they fail to see this.

Its ironic especially when these same folks loved to reference Clinton's impeachment. Some people here only care about making others mad, much like the OP and even some House Republicans. It's a pity that such childish mentality has infected our political atmosphere, but there's little to be done about it for a variety of reasons.

Like he hasnt been charged with a crime before? A conviction by the senate is the only thing that will hurt his Legacy. Imo. Other than that Dems lose points with this farce. If you wanna hurt Trump seal up his purse strings like Gingrich did to Clinton. Dont give him any money for the rest of his term/terms. Wont happen. Why? Be like democrats chewing off their own arms not spending money foolishly.

12 답변Hearing about Trump 24/7 has made me hate him more than anything. One side believes hes the devil and the other believes hes the sequel to Jesus. Either way, it's a lose/lose situation for me. He gets removed from office and the righties here will throw a huge fit until the end of time. He isn't removed and the Eccho Chamber will intensify. I just want a giant meteor to smash into DC and wipe the slate clean.

Someone want to go a step further and tell them that the [b]republican controlled[/b] senate basically said they had zero intention of removing him? This was always symbolic at best. But it does show clear violations of oaths of impartiality I suppose.
