Bungie is quite amazing. They’ve taken such a great concept like Destiny, added beautiful art, great sound, incredible gun play, and then said “ok, how can we make this as average as possible.” I don’t think I’ve ever seen a developer fight tooth and nail to produce 6/10 content. So much potential with such piss poor execution.

Yeah man, tired of it. Just today, I didn't realise the Osiris quest had a 2nd step, after my first sundial run I never went back. Anyway, today I did, picked up a quest kill cabal, I'm right oh here we go. Next step kill strike bosses X3, then kill vex with shotguns, then kill strike bosses X5 then play gambit X5 n I just turned the game off. I just can't

I'd give Destiny (as a franchise) a solid 8/10. I don't think anything lower would've gotten me to dump so much time into it. Gameplay mechanics (gunplay, movement, etc) are fantastic minus a thing or two (how clambering works). Creating content for a game like this must be a nightmare. - If you lean too hard into mechanics to add difficulty, you get things like Leviathan and its raid lairs that are too much of a bother for most people to even go do - If you lean too much into "screw it, throw a buttload of enemies at them", you get something like The Reckoning that funnels build diversity into absolutely needing certain loadouts. - If you add something like a timer (Whisper and Zero Hour), people straight lose their minds for some reason... It's gotta be a tightrope act. One that will never be able to satisfy the audience.

작성자: C1B3D 12/12/2019 12:36:38 AMDestiny 2 was designed way too much around looks, and less about mechanics and content. Something like Destiny 2 is a great presentation for investors, but not to actual players. Bungie need to think like a player/consumer, and less like a car salesman.

That my friend is done to hit the triple A standard n be allowed to sell for 60.00. you need to hit certain fidelity to be granted AAA status and this be allowed to charge top dollar, its why so many games these days release pretty, and hollow. It's also done so as it improves over time and they do work to fix what they didn't add at launch, communities say 'theyre listening to us' and it builds goodwill n people stick around.

Their lack of understanding what a good UI is perplexing when they have so many employees. Their first attempt at a pursuits tab was such an embarrassment. I was shocked that they felt that was a great UI change to release on us.

They’re seasons, right?
