say you want to MW an exotic armor piece, it won't cost you one ascendant, it will cost you three.
this seems a bit steep don't ya think.
Please reduce this insanity

Did it cause I wanted the stat boost and extra slot, also agree it’s too steep a price. As it stands I feel like MW all armor is too expensive - if I hadn’t purchased the season pass for all the materials it includes I wouldn’t even have a single MW set - on top of that I have to carry 3 sets of armor because of element affinity and now feel stuck wearing my void set and using scouts/snipers because that’s the only set I have MW’d - I wouldn’t have such an issue if there was at least more ways to grind for upgrade materials vs running the same strike over and over and over and over (you get the point) ADD UPGRADE MATERIALS TO OTHER ACTIVITIES! (and yes, reduce the cost to upgrade exotics please)

3 답변I found salvation for such problem. I just don’t give a f&$@$k about MW and stopped playing for now because except pvp this game have no replayable content for fun and this pvp is not fun as well. I hope these morons who are asking for new strikes for every update and blaming Gambit are happy

This is why I haven't touched the game since March. The economy/progression is completely broken. How many people actually have that kind of time to grind? I check in once and a while to see if things have changed, but it appears they've only doubled down on the grind. Just mindless grind. That's not what this game was supposed to be.

Nightfall the Ordeal is in place as a farmable activity to provide these items. For once, we can run the nightfall over and over and continue to get rewarded rather than one-and-done for the week. Can't get the actual shard golf ball thingy from the 920, but the 950 and 980 has a chance. The 920 will grant prisms pretty regularly which can be combined to make golf balls. I agree it's grindy! And three seems a bit steep for an Exotic MW, considering most of us have lives outside of being a Guardian. Seems the economy is built around the dude sitting in Grandma's basement wearing an adult diaper so he can play 24/7 and never have to get up to use the bathroom.

I’ve got to rank 154 so I’ve put in a decent amount of time this season, not as much as some but still a decent amount. I’ve got to rank Legend in Comp. Ranked up my Valour many more times than usual. How many ascendant shards do I have? 3! And they were from that season thing. But in all honesty I’ve stopped caring about that. It’s not like the game will give me the exotic I want with the affinity I need. So why worry about MWing them? To be honest though this whole system has sickened me of the game and I find myself playing this game less and less.

23 답변작성자: A Lion of Judah 12/4/2019 6:56:09 PMThat's worth 340 enhancement cores. It's funny that, amidst the overwhelming majority's requests to reduce the cost, or remove enhancement cores, bungie released a modification that not only increased the cost of most core related functions, but also, added a new element, which is essentially just stacks of enhancement cores, which is simply increasing the cost. So they heard the feedback, and chose to do the opposite. I dont care, and haven't cared about master working at all...it isn't relevant for most activities. It doesnt alter your play enough to be worth so much, so I say it isn't worth it. If they release exotic armor MODs like... Bruiser- leg mod- sliding into enemies causes damage. ...then I would be saving every sweet little morsel, and spending it on my armor. Bungie has created a system where the peak armor requires RPG level grind to obtain, but offers FPS (basic/irrelevant/unnoticeable) level perks. Either make it FPS input, OR RPG outcome One way or the other there needs to be balance on what we put in, and get out of our armor, right now, its tipping the scales upside down in favor of input.

6 답변I haven’t Masterworked one piece of armor. I can’t see any reason to. And I can’t afford to do it to more than one piece of armor right now, so why bother. When they first introduced MW it was okay. I liked it on weapons. The orbs generated were great. When they messed with the system and increased the cost, I virtually stopped MW. The amount of cores asked for was just nuts. Now it’s just insane. How Bungie would really expect a New Light player to have the materials needed to upgrade let alone Masterwork anything is beyond me. I’ve played this game for years, I still feel like I’m broke all the time.

It should definitely be reduced to 2 for Exotic (still 1 for Legendary) but the number of sources needs to increase especially for PvP players, e.g. Increase IB Bounties to 5 - 7, give one Ascendant Shard per character for completing them all 1 Ascendant Shared for Resetting Valor rank 3 Ascendant Shards for reaching Legend in Comp Glory rank

1 답변작성자: DeathPony07 12/4/2019 9:40:50 PMArmor 2.0 is garbage. They should have just added the mod slots, and reusable mods to the old system. I don't think I will ever masterwork anything again. It's not worth the time investment.

2 답변Upgrade materials should be farmable from multiple activities , they shouldn’t be considered “end game” content or rewards. But I think when you have shortage in rewards you resort to this kind of BS. They could make a lot of old activities relevant by throwing upgrade materials as a reward to farm.
-
2 답변Well that's basically the problem: Only nightfalls give shards. So if you enjoy nightfalls you have a lot. If you don't like nightfalls you have zero. All D2 activities should have a chance to reward prisms and shards. The more difficult the activity the higher the chance. It would be nice to see one in 70 public events give a shard and one in 30 or 40 strikes/gambit matches/crucible matches reward a shard. That way people can just PLAY THE F*CKING GAMES THEY ENJOY don't feel forced into activities they don't enjoy or need to find a group because the only activities that give shards require you to go in with a pre-made group. Ugh.

12 답변작성자: Josev_Spaceface 12/4/2019 7:58:43 PMYeah, three ascendant shards to mw exotic armor is ridiculous. Ignoring the many, many "git gud" type comments out there, even if you do regularly try to farm 980s, IMO that's asking way too much. I've done 980s and never got more than prisms. The economy is dumb for how already hard it is to get lucky on 1) the exotic you want, 2) the high stat roll on said exotic, 3) the elemental affinity of said exotic. This isn't a reasonable grind. Anyone saying differently is being argumentative for the sake of being petty and elitist. There is a time and a place for restricting rewards, but ascendant shards are too rare for their intended purpose in the game. More players should be able to obtain them in a more accessible way than they are currently made available in 980s.
-
Not chasing shards anymore if our season armour we just fully upgraded can’t take the next season mods. A waste of time in a broken system. We went from a dull but balanced armor system to a shiny but flawed system that spits in your face for your time put in every 3 months. Perhaps a year long system instead of keep moving the goal posts on anyone upgrading armor sets.
-
I agree completely. The cost of 100 Enhancement Cores for a legendary needs reduced as well, and 300 for an exotic is extremely excessive. The overall energy costs of mods needs to significantly reduced for us to gain any additional benefits from the previous 1.0 armor.
