I feel like shit. Honestly I do. I hate that I put myself into this situation. I feel like I want to quit this game and it sucks so bad that I do feel this way. Is the reason why I'm still here because I'm addicted? I feel irrational. -.-
Me: I won't make it to seasonal rank 100.
Bungie: It's alright we already have something in mind for that.
Me: Cool?
Bungie: You can get the stuff you payd for if you pay up again.
Me: Are you -blam!-ing serious?
Bungie: Yes? Most people don't have trouble with getting to seasonal rank 100. This is thoughtful of us.
Me: I don't have as much time as I use to do and you exploit me for it?
Bungie: What no!? We are giving you an option in a situation you put yourself in.
Me: THIS is a situation you made and can undo if you so desire, nevermind the fact that I could never know how much time it would take to get rank 100.
Bungie: So your saying we that we by design, deliberately put you and others in this situation to earn more money?
Me: Not if you let me get the content that I payd for on my own pace.
Bungie: We are not going to do that.
Me: You diden't need to tell me that.
Bungie: Hey stop that, we are not the bad guys here!
Me: I never cared if you where on the side of the good guys or the bad guys. I just cared that you where on my side.

Time gated seasons are the reason why i havent bought shadowkeep or the pass yet. Im 100+ in the freebie line but thats due to playing this game waaaay more than i probably should be... I play maybe 28 to 36 hours a week. PE, Gambit bounties, strikes(with bounties)... Etc Im constantly going back and forth to the tower. One thing that i think Bungie needs to consider is that D1 felt like it gave the player more time to explore... Chat, make friends... Yada yada... D2 has been since launch imo a pushy experience where if the player isnt focused on being efficient in their time management they wont get everything that others have out of this game. And thats too bad. And it isnt going to change imo with d2. Bungie really should listen to posts like this one OP wrote. Because Destiny should be an experience to remember... Not a confused push and shove. I feel ya OP.

Of course you will get the entitlement comments. Paying for goods and services is not entitlement. Asking and demanding free stuff is entitlement. Some people don't understand, yes I hate entitlement but this is about receiving your goods that is paid for already.

4 답변You aren't paying for the gear in the pass. You're paying for the ability to unlock it, so Bungie is under no responsibility to give it to you for free if you don't get to 100 by the end of the season

So if you wanted to work at your own pace and the next season starts in a week or so, then you’ll be ranking up 2 season passes at the same time. One has to end at the end of the season so the new one can begin. Some of the things in the season pass are tied directly to the vex offensive, which will be ending at the end of the season. The only solution I see to this is if you purchased it at the very beginning and weren’t able to complete it in time the rest should possibly unlocked for you. The real point behind them selling it either in sections or the whole thing at the very end is for people just jumping into it. I agree it’s kind of shitty if they’re going to charge you again if you want to purchase the remaining of what you didn’t finish but at the same time that is your choice. Other than some prisms and an ascendant shard the rest doesn’t matter. Do the smart thing and just keep your money in your wallet.

If your priorities are taking you away from the game don’t buy a season pass. Or just look at it as it’s 10 bucks and you get what you can from it and let the rest go. I mean what do you expect? Bungie to just give you the rest of the stuff? Then what would be the point of the season pass at all?

Yea I hate time gated content, ESPECIALLY when it’s paid content. I did manage to get 100 (I’m a little past it now) but this was like all I did in the little free time I had outside of work. It really caused burnout. Haven’t even touched the undying mind and I’ve only done the invasion once because I just don’t want to play now. Content should never be timegated in any game, except MAYBE holiday stuff. That’s the only thing though in my opinion.

Buy them or don’t, at no point is any of this compulsory Honestly, you snowflakes HAVE to stop playing video games like you have a gun to your head

3 답변Why do you want to get to 100 so bad? Why didnt you put the time in to get there? IF you are so angry that level 100 is for sale, then dont buy it. I dont care if people buy it or that Bungie sells it. I can only really think of cosmetic stuff and maybe some mats are gained from being 100, not that big of a deal. I made it level 180 or so, it was easy.

2 답변It's not ethical to sell season ranks when you already charge for a season pass. If the game were truly 100% free to play, I would never say one word about it, but this free to play monetization in a "free to get started, but pay to keep going", game is ridiculous.
