Disagree.
The problem is simple. The more Bungie gives us, the more we demand from them. Desire and Greed self-regulate. When they are in control, the more you get, only means the more you want.
Sols you should understand this better than anyone. You used to be one of Destiny1s harshest critics around here, as you and I argued over its faults versus its potential.
Now you are waxing nostalgic over the virtues that never were.
The issue isn’t Bungie being lazy. THE ISSUE IS MILLIONS OF PEOPLE THINKING THEIR MONEY ENTITLES THEM TO A PERSONALIZED EXPERIENCE.
It doesn’t.
So when something about the game isn’t to their precise specifications this community respond (collectively) like a toddler throwing a tantrum.
Was Vex Final Offensive disappointing? Sure.
Did Bungie’s putting it on the Road Map suggest that it would be a bigger event than it turned out to be? Sure.
But fact is that Bungie didn’tspecifically promise us anything. And this community is ultimately victims of their own devices. Have let their imaginations run away with them.
There are no perfect games. There never will be any perfect game.
And anyone who insists that they can’t be happy unless a game is perfectly tuned to their personal preferences is going to live and probably die someday....unhappy.
”There are two guaranteed ways of being miserable in this world. Getting nothing of what you want, and getting everything you want. But at least those who get nothing, can still cling to the illusion that they’ll be happy some day by getting what they want.”

I've posted many times that the folks who demand content endlessly will never be satisfied with what they get and I'm not sure what I'm "waxing nostalgic over". If you're referring to the raids being more true endgame, they were. Other than that please clarify. To the rest of the reply, it's two sides of one coin and further supports what I'm posting, which is Bungie should give the game a more realistic flow and pace content better vs trying forever appease the people who play for a living.
