Got an email from bungie attempting to get me to buy shadowkeep and what was their sales pitch? Maybe they touted hours of additional story content that was added? No because it wasn't. Maybe they tried to sell me on in game rewards that are granted for playing the game. Nope because they're not there. Did they try to entice me with an all new suite of vendor weapons and armor? Nope. Maybe by making past content I've already paid for relevant again? Wasn't that either. So what was their reason I should come back?
Fear missing out.
That's it. That's their reason. Give me a break. Bungie you're going to have to make significant changes before I ever think about giving you another cent. Missing out is not a fear I have, however being misled and fooled by you yet again is a concern.

7 답변Next dlc is going to determine wether or not i permanantly drop d2 once and for all. People, like me, who paid for the season pass are not getting an adequate amount of content for what we paid for. For the season pass, so far, we have gotten a mediocre raid that recycles the same mechanic over and over(tethering), a boring game mode with bad rewards(vex offensive), and a broken leveling system.(artifacts and bad pinnacal drops). The only redeeming thing about SK so far is POH . I wish bungies lead designer, luke smith, would resign or step down already, his philosophy of grind grind grind and make everything harder to obtain(like max light gear) has been nothing but a detriment to the development of this game. Someone else should be instated in his place as director. Some one who listens to the community, someone who has experience coordinating multiple dev teams. Ie. Raid, crucible, and pve, and someone who has actually played a GD fps looter shooter before.

36 답변I want to come back to Destiny, honestly, but there is no reason to. Just play for fun? I did for a very long time, but they took the fun away

12 답변Once they nerf Recluse, I'm out. Ive ground out every pinnacle weapon in this game, only to watch them be destroyed. A complete disrespect of my time

1 답변Ski0723 You make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game but,The Black Garden may not stay among us for long. Something has begun to repair the schism torn by its destruction. Vex now flood the Garden channels to protect it. We must stop the weavers before they seal the Garden and begin to summon back its heart.

2 답변This is the first time I didn't buy a Destiny expansion. I've just been running raids on D1, usually on Friday nights.

It was pretty obvious that was their new business plan once the info about Y3 started pouring in. They know their dedicated fanboys cherish content quantity over content quality. That's why Destiny is in such rough shape. Tons of stuff to do and no real logical reason to do it. From an analytical standpoint regarding its design, its a complete and utter choatic failure.

29 답변If you come into it this late, you're either going to have to play your ass off to get through 100 levels of the pass, pay to catch up, or miss out, therefore wasting your money. This is why I hate battle passes. Nothing about them is consumer friendly.

34 답변작성자: TheShadow-cali 11/14/2019 10:54:30 PMWhatever you do, don't pay attention to the ones trying to trigger you making childish remarks. You're actually doing the right thing for yourself. Saving yourself the headache of Bungie not putting the effort of creating a decent expansion. So far in lighter terms then what I'd like to say what it really is? It's half-backed, worse then Forsaken in every aspect of it with the exception of the moon and the raid. All the stuff in-between that makes a game like a story, rewards, leveling up, throttling quest, Made Eververse their main focus, etc... It's been crap as a developer that use to create quality content that had heart put into their work and it's the 3rd year of D2. Your best bet is to wait until Bungie somewhat gets their act together with this game and stops toying with their player base as you said, misleading them. Overall, I thought Activision was bad, but Bungie was just hiding behind them, letting them take the blame.

1 답변A good post for our subsection of players concerned about this. Xbox has a flash sale for $45 for SK deluxe today and I was really close to grabbing it. As a casual I go at a slower pace and just reached 900 this week. I want to reward their goodwill from FoTL but like OP is saying...they’ve just made a few too many hyper aggressive marketing/scheming tactics to my liking. Yes, I’d likely enjoy all $50 after tax, worth of content but I don’t want to reward this garbage fake excuse for FOMO...aka deleting season pass activities/content. Mentioning how past content is made worse by eliminating the OG progression channel during campaigns is VERY ANNOYING because it’s the only method we had of adding any diy difficulty to those campaigns. Obviously Bungie is too lazy or greedy to implement a scaling option for past owned content, let alone add a difficulty to SK story missions. These gripes only affect a small group I know but Bungie imo can’t afford to keep shunning away PAYING customers. The fake storage argument is laughable and I totally disagree that’s it’s a legitimate roadblock to actual paying guardians, therefore this FOMO tactic of deleting SoU is unforgivable

4 답변It's going to be a long year. This can't be what Bungie envisioned as their future, recycling the same content year in and year out, selling emotes and weapon skins, and playing to the worst instincts in gamers to turn a profit. I keep saying it because it's worth mentioning, these are the people that made Halo. It's sad. But, hey new consoles next year.

2 답변I’ve uninstalled destiny to free up space but have kept the app so I can stay up to date on game news. So far nothing big has been added that would warrant a return to the game at the price bungie are asking for. But I’ll continue to hope bungie sorts themselves out and makes destiny a good game.

1 답변Not sure how I feel about Bungie’s intention/motive here. I find it a bit predatory tbh. Tapping into someone’s anxiety about “missing out on something” by not playing a game. There’s currently a mental health camping running in the UK encouraging younger people to be more communicative with friends/family because anxiety & depression has increased 48% in the last 15 years - coincidentally with the advent of social media. So, for Bungie to start emailing their players coercing them into playing more to increase their numbers is irresponsible.

17 답변I didnt even get ShadowKeep. I anticipated it would be un-rewarding reskinned content and I was right. Eververse is the main place to receive cool looking items and Im not coming back to this greedy garbage game.

6 답변Bungie, FOMO requires something that we actually fear missing out on. Something we actually care about. Which is why we have thousands of hours in D1 but only a few hundred to maybe a thousand in D2. D1 FOMO was real, in D2 HA! (yeah right)
