Why is everyone so shocked? Did we really thing bungle were going to keep the MW system the same now they have to do all the work?
Far easier to just introduce some crap new resource you cant get than do any actual content creation.

What do you mean? Literally half this post is people saying “the system is so stingy and they don’t give us enough” and the other half is people being like “what do you mean? You can get 18 shards garenteed a week just from the dungeon”. Bungie thought it all pretty straight forward. Do the end game activities and you will be showered in everything.

It’s a grinding looter shooter game? It it wasn’t nightfalls or dungeons or the raid it would be crucible or gambit. This game is built as a repetitive grinding game. This isn’t the Witcher 3 with 200 hours of story, this is destiny where you grind the same things for 2000 hours. Just like in Warframe or other games of this type.

There is diversity. Strikes, crucible, gambit, Raids, Dungeons. It to mentions the more specific grinds of the forges, reckoning, and menagerie. Plus times event grinds like Vex Offensive and Haunted Forest. The only reason you would want to get endgame pinnacles gear at 960 is to do endgame pinnacles gear that is above the 950 cap. And the way to get it is by grinding end game activities. Essentially, there are less activities that give 950+ gear and that is because those are the only activities that that gear would make a difference. Why do you want 960 of want don’t want to grind those events?

I want to masterwork only to be able to use similar builds (mods) I had with armour 1.0. I don’t need 980 level, beat first master nightfall and hunt around 950. Power level doesn’t make you much stronger in any activity.

I don't need high level gear, I want to masterwork it, and you said the best way besides the grueling Nightfalls was the dungeon. A static dungeon that never changes. Therefore there is no diversity for this situation. I never specified the game as a whole was bland.

Same problem. Why do you want masterworked gear? You want to min/max your build to destroy those strike playlist bosses? Or are you playing PvP at such a competitive level where added another traction mod or Tier of Mobility is going to make all the difference? Masterworking is only recommended (not even needed) for end game grinding. All grinding activity are static in nature show me an evolving strike that changes mechanics or bosses. Menagerie is the only activity to my knowledge that changes each run but even that has only 6 static encounters that it shuffles. Destiny at least let’s you do all the same activities but with three different characters each with 3 different elemental play styles. Can you give me an example of the grind you imagin would be perfect?

More than 1 source of endgame material. Crucible and Gambit are never the same as each round has different players resulting in quute different games. Strikes are pretty stale, but Bungo could easily fix that by adding more variables, or have said variables appear more often. I'd also love to see dungeons or strikes that randomly generate rooms, making each map different. Also adding in more enemy types, not species, but more taken enemies or cabal would also be a huge game changer. I don't want 50 raids or a million strikes. I want the basic things that make bigger differences that are in every other good grinder game.

Sometime like haunted/ infinite forest that is procedurally generates but with like 100x more block pieces to stick together so I don’t see the same ones as before as often. I definitely agree on adding more variations of the existing species although I think that would only be going forward. Although I think the whole game in general is in need of a refresh. Not just vendor refreshes I think in general vendor refreshes are a red herring. But updating the planet bounties, weapon grind and lost sectors. Also I would like cooler modifiers like playing strike maps backwards or with a completely different enemy type possible in each match.
