It speaks to the sensory experience and how what we perceive points the earth being flat. This is also an argument used by many Christians. Many times, I've been asked on these very forums about how the big bang happened if we didn’t see it, or if we have not seen direct evidence of it happening. I often offer peoples links to how it’s possible but those are rejected as delusional or fabrications in an attempt to control people. You cannot use an argument for one purpose, then turn around and say that the same argument is stupid. That makes you a liar and a hypocrite. So please, Christians, I implore you to move beyond the bland arguments that science exist because you can't see it, or the claim that you need empirical proof that it exists in order for it to exist. It's stupid and is a logical fallacy. I am by no means saying the earth is flat, I am open minded enough to believe others at their word. but anyone who says that god can be real because science is fake, better be an astronaut, or also believe the earth is flat. Christians are the same as flat earthers.[/b] I’m going to go more in-depth here than HoTh. Many times Christians deny science. Whether it be the big bang, which contradicts that god created the universe, or evolution happened because it contradicts Adam and Eve. People claim it’s made to science cannot be trusted because it’s easy to modify it. So my friends, you can’t have your cake and eat it too (weird phrase when you think about it), if you’re going to call people the same as flat earthers, you need to see your own similarities to them as well. I in no way shape or form believe this type of logic because it can be twisted so easily, that it can be applied to anything.
