Would any of you be okay with Bungie taking an ENTIRE season pump out as many Quality of Life updates instead of releasing new content?
This would include things like:
- Subclass Upgrades/Rework
- Exotic Buffs (Weapons and Armor)
- More Catalysts
- Weapon Vendor Resets
- Increase Vault Size
- Increase Inventory Size
- Increase Shader Inventory Size
Basically anything and everything this game needs to make it better rather than releasing more content while the game has issues that need fixing but they dont have the time to do.
Just something my friends and I thought about last night.

1 답변I think its a good idea. it’d probably take these guys 3 months to change a lightbulb. I’m sure if they took time out to focus entirely on changing said lightbulb, it’d take them a few weeks.

Bungie is more than capable of correcting the issues with this game, but they won’t. If they were to jump on every single thing that the community was asking for the community would expect it. Right now, they have us where they want us because we don’t expect anything to get done. Now, when they do fix something it’s the whole, “Bungie is actually listening” to the community. Bungie’s focus is on creating new content for Eververse first and QoL issues somewhere around last.

작성자: Demon_XXVII 11/4/2019 5:30:01 AMOnly if top of the list was “Fix your god damn game Bungie” Broken quests, laggy UI, missing tooltips on characters, far too much fluff - way too many currencies, back/forth travel, unrewarding grind, terrible matchmaking & lag/hit detection/mote grab (Gambit & Raid) Currently the game is lacking, no fun, humour, fear, wow moments, holy fvck moments, extraordinary gear etc across the game

2 답변작성자: Seraph 11/3/2019 8:46:32 PMI keep waiting for the Destiny 2 equivalent of Destiny 1’s April Update. Unfortunately, it probably won’t happen. Bungie spent the vast majority of time trying to smooth Destiny 1’s rough edges, and that meant regular quality of life updates. And then Destiny happened, and the community deemed Destiny 2 to be too casual by the no lifers. Everything from Forsaken onward has been Bungie trying undo that too casual label, and that means adding back a lot the rough edges that the community complained about in Destiny 1.

6 답변Nope. Bungie can make QoL changes and content at the same time, so I'm not supporting a Season with absolutely nothing new to do.
-
1 답변I would rather take a break from seasons and smaller DLC to have TTK and Forsaken size DLC with long content drought in between.

More catalyst give rise to more quests which equals more bullshit so no on that one. So how about this instead Increase planetary materials from reward caches Including set amounts of legendary shards in all bounty’s Reducing the cost factor for upgrade materials Paying more emphasis on pve and less on pvp Restoring all armour & weapons from the first game to D2 Giving players the choice of either to do a quest for a exotic or buying it direct from xur using silver The complete removal of introductory quest like gambit and gambit prime The complete removal of dialogue for npc involving public events

1 답변I'm against exotic catalysts. To me they are simply buffs the weapon should have gotten that are locked behind rng and grind for no reason

3 답변This used to be standard and came with a seasonal update. Now the game gets a shallow update and eververse gets a massive update and the world get no update.
-
2 답변Im not paying for a season that does that because there's no additional content BUT if they took a break for a season just fix stuff I'd be happy to wait a season for good fixes.

Siege had something like this "Operation Health". But just like another guy here said, the community would just be mad about it, even if they didn't have to pay for it. But bungie could proabaly find a fun way to do this season in question. Like a roadmap of This week we have (insert QoL change) next week we're experimenting with (insert controversial rework/buff/nerf) I think bungie would learn a lot like that going forwards

Also they need to add content to the game that should have been there from release: - raid ornaments - raid hardmode - larger raid loot tables - strike specific loot (THATS ACTUALL THEMED FOR THE STRIKE OR I DONT WANT IT) - rotating vendor inventories (idk if that was said already) - comp ornaments - largest and most devoted crucible update ever made - smarter AI(?)
