Exotic engram drops - SHOULD be at “pinnacle” level
I just had an exotic drop at 950? Even exotics aren’t at 951/952 inline with my light?
I can’t advance and have had 5 x energy weapons at 951.
Three raid drops and two times the last dance at 951. Is this a glitch?
Anyone else have any feedback?

Edit: I think exotics dropping at pinnacle power wouldn't be bad, but primes definitely shouldn't. The guy patrolling shouldn't have the same chance of hitting max power as the guy doing 980 activities while at 960 or less. I just think pinnacle drops need to be more potent and need to target your lowest gear piece.

This is what an Activision-free Destiny really looks like: Cutting corners and bare minimum recycled content, along with as many scams as possible.

This is nothing personal towards anyone, it's just a basic fact. There are a few people on this forum that don't pay attention to the game they play, and if they have been playing since D1 every single one of them should know what I'm about to say. Since D1 every single DLC has been set up this way in one form or another. 5 years people, all of you should know this but it's a lot worse in D2. When any new DLC drops, the leveling up is slowed down. it's been the norm since D1... It's not a mistake It's not that they didn't think about certain things when leveling up characters It's not that they didn't have enough people to get ideas They didn't have issues creating this leveling system It was all planned out as it is right now, plain and simple. You are not meant to reach certain levels when content is dripped feed. So it literally does no good asking for something they will not add at this point. When they feel you guys have grind enough and I mean (when they feel) they will change things making things a little easier. This has been the norm for 5 years now.

3 답변I remember in Rise of Iron (the expansion Bungie insists on comparing SK to) had this. The cap was 390 and among other sources to 400 was exotic engrams.

1 답변Making exotic drops pinnacle is an incorrect solution to a current problem. The problem is that there is too much RNG in the drops from end game activities. The sources for drops are good, however, it takes roughly 21 drops on average to get all 8 slots a +1 drop, not including the raid is heavily weighted towards heavy weapons. I think a better solution would be to change how much of a bump pinnacle drops give. My proposed solution would be to give a +1 drop to your [u]average power level rounding down at half[/u] rather than your [u]average power level rounding down[/u]. Essentially, this would require 5 items to be +1 before you start getting drops at the next power level. This would mean 7-8 pinnacle drops on average from 950-951, then something around 7-14 pinnacle drops for levels 951+, which could be decreased by getting other powerful drops to fill in the gaps. This type of system would still allow for a grind to 960, but make it a little more based on gameplay and less on RNG to get a heavy weapon.

작성자: southface88 10/30/2019 8:59:14 AMIt's not a glitch that's how it works... all gear has to be at 950 to go to 951... then al gear need to be at 951 to get 952 drops and so on... only pinnacle drops can drop at that level also... the only reason. Your above 950 light is bc of the artifact . I actually like it this way. The only thing that sucks is that there should be a couple more pinnacle drops per week.

It’s funny. They added these new “powerful” drop grinds and yet all of them are useless now. What, the only thing I’ll do now is the 100k nightfall, nightmare and raid. Everything else is now irrelevant. What were they thinking?
