How many game controllers do u guys go through?
I think I'm on number 4. Lost my ability to keep running. So now I have a real reason on never keeping up.
This has always been a problem for me, going back to the days of the joystick for the Atari 2600.
PS4 Controller 1- spring mechanism broke in trigger after 2 weeks, kept firing 2 rockets and blowing myself up.
#2- trigger wouldn't always respond
#3- stick drift
#4- L3 no continuous run

Apparently Xbox controllers don’t like too many Clorox wipes. 2nd: “A” button stopped working 3rd: left stick was stuck forward. 4th: Headphone jack stopped working 5th: A” button has a habit of getting stuck, but it isn’t as bad as #2.

I'm on my 3rd xbone controller in probably 4-5 years. Don't remember what happened to the first one. The RB stopped working on the second one. Took it apart and couldn't get it to work. Probably because I slammed it on the ground multiple times when it was working intermittently. The controller I bought after that had to be taken back as the right thumbstick would just barely stick to one side.

2 답변I had to buy a new Xbox One controller after the one you get with the console due to stick drift. Upgraded to an Elite a couple of years ago but ended up having to replace that one after a year because the rubber grips on the back were peeling off.

Lunar white, wanted a 3.5mm jack, given away. 4. Elite controller number 1. Fell off my bed and the plastic inside it broke. 5. Project scorpio controller, never been used. 6. Elite controller number 2. Still my active controller. Still considering going for the elite controller V2. But now that i mainly play on PC i'm not sure if I will.

작성자: DemonicChronic 10/29/2019 4:37:51 AMWell I play Tony Hawk's Underground Pro (Community created multiplayer mod for THUG 2) at basically the highest level of skill which involves a lot of things that are really intensive for controllers. (clawing constantly, mashing a button multiple times in less than a second, holding down certain buttons continuously for long periods of play time. etc) So you tend to go through a lot of controllers. More than I care to remember over the past few years. It's usually the right bumper or the A button that goes out first for me (I use wired 360 controllers as they're pretty cheap and effective for me) as those take the biggest beating from the way I play. If I had to guess I would say I've had maybe 10 controllers over the past 3-4 years. Almost all of them exclusively replaced because of playing so much THUG Pro.

1 답변[i]The only controller that I’ve ever had to replace was the Dual Shock 2 on the PS2, which broke after continuously blocking while playing Onimusha. I did buy another Dual Shock 4 for my PS4 since I was experiencing a bit of analogue stick drift while playing The Witcher 3, and Ni No Kuni 2, but the second I made my purchase, my old controller stopped acting up, and now works perfectly ( I think ).[/i]

I'm on my second one for my PS4. I usually only have to replace one controller per console life. If they break, it's generally just a defect or wear and tear. I don't know it it helps, but I clean them, don't drop them on hard surfaces and don't squeeze them too hard or button-smash when I play. Maybe that aids the longevity.

1 답변I have literally never worn out a controller. Idk how people do it. Just press the buttons and sticks you don’t have to mash em.

My first one was a day one controller but the left control stick was acting up about 2 years ago and was disposed of. [spoiler]Yes, it was for xbox one.[/spoiler]
