He really speak for the community...or bit!? His feedback:
- raid is far too easy. Meanwhile most of us haven’t even started it let alone complete it
- levelling is too easy. He’s played 93 hours since launch...we all have actual jobs and scraping to level up
- Armor 2.0 is fantastic. Really??!!
So I’m assuming Bungie will take this on board even though this represents the most elite of elite try hards.
EDIT: I don’t mean to make this personal against Datto. I respect his knowledge and I obviously follow him otherwise I wouldn’t have seen the video. I guess my implicit message is that I don’t like the power Youtubers have, and certainly don’t feel their opinion represents the majority of the players. A point he himself acknowledges yet there does seem to be a correlation between what streamers say and what Bungie do. That was my main concern - I don’t think that was very clear originally
EDIT 2: some good comments both side of the coin here. Please try and not get too personal against Datto, ie some comments about his hair style etc, not really relevant!

3 답변The raid is too easy but he didn't get Worlds first? Oh the irony . I haven't even had a chance to attempt it, I'm working 56 hours (7 day weeks) on swing shift right now, my whole clan works a different shift

4 답변In contrast to you he is using ARGUMENTS why he thinks that way You just say "it's not correct"

작성자: Chicken RICK 10/12/2019 10:16:27 AMimagine being a 30 year old virgin who makes a good living but you can’t leave your house he literally lives on Destiny. He needs to get out and get his pecker sucked, then maybe he won’t be so pent up

1 답변You say it yourself near the bottom, bungie only listens to him and others because you follow and watch their videos It’s common sense, if they had no followers then bungie would not listen, it’s the community that creates the problem and then whines about the result

1 답변I really love how the forums just have this insane hate circle jerk over some guy making videos.

작성자: michael 10/12/2019 6:29:09 AMHe never said the raid needed to be harder. He said that the raid kicked him and his team’s ass on contest day and after the handicap was gone it became a joke, and that he misses that challenge that he experienced on day 1. If I remember correctly he suggests a return of amped up difficulty raids. He never said or implied that the raids needed to be harder because he finds them easy. In terms of armour 2.0 Im sorry but it is objectively way better. The only flaw is the elements locking to certain perks but other than that it is a vast improvement in every way. .

1 답변Bungie listens to streamers because they give their feedback in kind and constructive ways, plus they always provide gameplay to backup their opinions. It's no surprise that they have power... Because they should have at least SOME kind of effect on Bungie. It's nice to know that Bungie listens to their community in some way or form instead of just being silent and doing nothing. The fact is, the new raid is piss easy up until the final boss. For me, I actually like it this way because I can get Raid drops easily even if I never beat the final boss. I understand that the real hardcore players like streamers who form dedicated teams to taking on the hardest challenges might want a raid that is always hard. Also, I don't think YouTubers or Streamers should hold back their honest thoughts just because Bungie might listen to them. They have every right to voice their concerns for the game just as we do.

작성자: BarretOblivion 10/12/2019 6:26:04 AMHe's right about the raid honestly. Except for the final encounter the raid is again, too easy. You don't need to invest at all into armor 2.0 which as an end game activity it should require you to at least have a build instead of just thrown together armor. The final encounter.... eh, feels like a proper raid encounter... congrats, Bungie scored 1/4 on raid encounters. Every single other encounter is mind numbingly easy without contest. I raid in a midcore static in FFXIV for Savage content and this raid might be as hard as a 24 man when you are geared for it without a forced handicap. (Keep in mind for those who don't know, the 24 mans are almost always piss easy that everyone face rolls using matchmaking, so no this isn't a compliment). People need to learn something, raiding is supposed to push the regular playerbase to get better at the game, but I swear all of these people complaining about not having the time to invest into a raid are just lazy. Yes, I am calling al of your arses off, you are all lazy. The static I am in is 6/8 families with etiher kids or work full time. We only raid 3 days a week for maybe 2 hours. They can still clear raids with perserverence. You all either should be ashamed or admit that you just aren't interested in the content. If you don't like raiding THAT'S FINE, I'm not going to bash you. If you start complaining about the raid being too hard, you deserved to be smacked. Destiny raiding is and has always been the entry level into raiding in gaming. None of these encounters come close to being as complicated as real end game raiding you will find in any other game with raids. Even Division 2 I would argue who has only released 1 raid is harder than any of these Destiny raids Bungie has put out. The leveling... he is both right/ wrong on. He is right on its easy, but wrong because its not a natural leveling that makes it a problem. It should require doing harder activities to get higher power level, not simply smashing your face in patrol till you hit end game mindlessly. Power level doesn't represent how skilled a player is, I can bring in a 940 into the raid expecting a competant player, and be suprised they are complete crap at playing the game because all they do is patrol and strikes. Its an unnatural progression that hurts the playerbase, not helps it. It should be like MMOs where as you get closer to level cap the game gets harder requiring you to get better at it and to learn how the game actually works. Armor 2.0... I find it right now unneccessary to invest into. There is no reason to invest into it besides some of the season mods, none of the mods are exciting, just what we already had the last year so you just search for ammo mods and you are basically done. I don't feel much of a change when I look at my stats and think about them. You don't need to optimize, you don't need to think of what you are using, and its almost completely moot in the current end game. If Bungie made some activities that were rewarding and where you needed to have a somewhat optimal build that requires more to do at higher difficulties I would be fine with the system... but there isn't an activity right now that being over leveled doesn't face roll.

Well if you stop watching or listening to drop out scrubs with identity issues who live in their mom’s basement, then may be Bungie will realize that these employees are just sunk costs, in fact more detrimental than supportive to their business model. Datto doesn’t generate any sales or any collateral/marginal interest whatsoever. He doesn’t generate any buzz. In business, he is considered a dead weight investment. His fans are even more fans of the company, so whatever he says they will buy, and he has no reach whatsoever on people who don’t watch him already. Now you’re the only fool to believe that the muppet in front of your favorite fast food is doing community service. Or else you’re one of his fanboys trying to get him more views.

1 답변작성자: Mike-MF-Hall 10/12/2019 3:29:36 AMYou guys and your stupid content creators rule destiny theories Think critically for a sec. They know streamers represent the hardest of the hardcore. The heaviest time investors. If the game was truly ruled by them, the game would ONLY be made of ultra grindy hardcore hardest of hard content. Instead we get a lot of super casual easy give away stuff. Look at how easy it is to level or get powerful drops. Look how easy the campaign is. Look at the season reward packages. Sure it has grindy bits but only those parts are geared towards hardcore players like streamers. Stop thinking every time a content creator happens to have an opinion that is shared by bungie that the game is only for them. Its not. What you're doing is called confirmation bias

If you can't beat them, join them. This is a new era of marketing and influence that we're all witnessing, in all a aspects of marketing. As much as some may not want to admit, Datto and other YouTube influencers alike, are now part of the formula of these types of gaming companies. Like I said, if you can't beat Datto's online influence you're way, then try and push your views by becoming a YouTube influencers... Just a thought.

14 답변I'm just going to day what everyone except foryou people seems to understand. Bungle would have to be very stupid, i mean not smart enough to code that basic rocket launch program from 1982 stupid, to take everything datto says and apply it directly as the opinion of the majority of destiny players. If you want to think that bungie is that dumb, that is your choice. If you want to give them some credit, why don't you assume they'll check their data, see how long it takes the average player to hit 93 hours or whatever datto is at, and extrapolate that to evaluate the game for everyone else. If he thinks it's too easy now, it'll be too easy for all of us in time.. I'm fine with that a my clan canrarely get a consistent group on to raids, so i want an easier raids of we're having to carry one our two lower players.

The try-hards and streamers definitely don't represent the community. Still doesn't stop them from having influence over it. I mean you either have to make the game to fit people who actually have a life. Give them a sense of completion and accomplishment or you have to make it for the triple chin sweaties who play 10 hours a day.

Okay look I am not a Datto hate monger, but I don't like the guy either hell if the guys vids show up on my feed it gets an automatic thumbs down, but hell dude, even I can see your wrong with this post, I had to bring myself to watch his vid yes I gave him a big 👎but he did have valid points, and you for sure didn't paint the full picture here, if your going to hate makes sure your facts are in order, sorry but it makes you look foolish.

4 답변I love Datto, but I think he needs to step into the common player's shoes. He can dump 100 hours a week into the game because it's his job. It's like saying "making money is far too easy because my paycheck is 20$/hr and I get decent hours. Wage should be lowered to increase the challenge of life."
