Any tips on getting 1K??
I know it’s RNG and each key is a 10% chance of being 1K, but I’m officially up to 70 completions now and am starting to get frustrated. If anyone has any theories possibly or something they did that worked I’m willing to try it.
Was just wanting to get this before Shadowkeep, but it has eluded me for over 1 year now and continues to. Only have 2 more runs I can do this week.
Don’t need any snarky comments just need some actual advice.

Honestly, each week we ran the raid that didn't result in it dropping for me (during which time one clan mate received it 4 times!), I just went on an increasingly lengthy and foul-mouthed tirade until, finally, it dropped.

Kill Riven with all 3 characters... run the heart once.... open 3 chests in a row OR kill Riven with all 3 characters, hold the keys, kill Riven 2 more times after reset. Run heart once, open 5 chests in a row. Open the chests last... I don't know why but that has worked for me Disclaimer: even with this method, I opened somewhere around 65-67 chests to get my first 1k. The emblem only tracks heart runs, not chests opened or times Riven was defeated.... so I am unsure how many so far. My emblem says 38 but it's more like 90+ chests opened. 4 1k so far. The video I posted was when I got my 3rd and 4th 1k in the same run

I'm at 121 chests opened and I'm just pissed it hasn't dropped. I just want it so I don't have do last wish anymore... Bungie please for the love of God have drop protection, no one who invested dozens on hours trying to get the gun should be denied for a whole year. This is a slap in the face to the dedicated fans. This should also go for anarchy and tarrabah as I'm sure there are people in a similar boat.

Option A: Obtain PhDs in: quantum physics, applied physics, theoretical physics, and electrical engineering. Use this information to build a time machine and get world’s first for the Last Wish. Option B: Construct a shrine to RNGesus. Offer sacrifices (first born children are ideal, but goats work in a pinch) daily. Prey to the shrine, and live your life the way RNGesus wants you to. Option C: Corner a Dev in an alley and offer your “services” in exchange for 1k voices. Option D: Make a Faustian bargin. The blood of a Virgin is ideal for this. If you are one this is by far the easiest option, albeit you might find yourself sleep broomflying and kidnapping children, but I mean who needs to sleep when you have 1k voices? Option E: Hire a Dobuan shaman. Someone may have put a curse on you that drains your luck. Some chickens blood and cow nectar should clear that right up. Alternatively you could ask for good luck, but it will cost you a horse of course. Option F: Accept the futility of your fate. Not having bad luck protection sucks, and there’s nothing you can do about it other than recruiting like minded individuals, and forcing bungee to incorporate some sort of bad luck protection in to raids.

Alright man, this is a conspiracy alright? No in game basis whatsoever, but during the raid and in the final room you have to be yourself. Do something that defines you. I was like 27ish rewarded clears in when I said screw it and played a prank on someone. Gave me the exotic instantly, and I noticed that other people got it when they were being themselves too
