So let me get this straight for shadow keep you did the following:
nerfed precision damage
Buffed regular damage, but by a smaller amount than the precision nerf so it doesn't balance out.
Nerfed all the damage dealing perks.
Nerfed well.
reduced super regen.
reduced orb amounts.
made enemies go up to 100 levels above us.
Completely changed armor (whether that's good or bad we don't know yet)
and decided to stop making pinnacles.
And all of these things are supposed to be good for the player how?
I hope shadowkeep is good, but I dunno it seems like we're going back to D2 year 1.
Nobody wants D2 year 1.

35 답변작성자: TheArtist 9/28/2019 1:55:49 PMWhich would you rather eat? A peanut butter sandwich where all the peanut butter is piled up in one small corner? Or one where it’s spread over the bread and you get to enjoy peanut butter in every bite? The peanut butter is the POWER in this game. It’s all piled up in a small number of abilities, armor pieces, weapons and perks. THERE IS NO BUILD DIVERSITY IN THIS GAME. We all run the same builds and the same weapons with the same perks....and the more we do that the more Bungie pushes back and times the game with that expectation (Tier 3 Reckoning, Heroic Menagerie) It’s a downward spiral that breaks games. We either lose interest because the game becomes boring and if me-dimensional...or it becomes so tediously difficult (Reckoning) that it stops being fun to play. The only way this can be fixed is for Bungie to take back that power from those overpowered items and give it to other parts of the game. Things aren’t getting worse. Bungie is finally FIXING the problems that the bad design choices that went into vanilla Destiny 2 created. Instead of just slapping band-aids on them. What’s the point of all the choices the are building into our gear if six weapons and three perks are so clearly superior to everything else that no one bothers with anything else??

16 답변Yeah this TWAB was the nail in the coffin for me, deleted D2 off my PS4 this morning. I’ve previously pre-ordered every destiny release since the D1 beta. I will continue to check in on the game and see if they make changes that suit me, but there’s a lot they’d have to change such as: Remove the focus on paid micro transactions. Don’t have things like finisher animations be tied to Eververse. Stop the reskins (new Shadowkeep armor an Eververse reskin, new ritual scout a niflheim frost reskin etc). Don’t have paid content that disappears. And random rolls to all year 1 weapons. Update all old vendors with new gear. Bring factions back permanently with rotating stock. Listen to the community (after all the negative feedback on enhancement cores, they add two more upgrade materials required for armor 2.0? Absurd). Give me a reason to grind old content from the last two years. I’m thoroughly bored of it and armor 2.0 isn’t enough to make it interesting. Also the game feels like it is headed towards extended grind just to drag things out even more. No thanks. It was fairly fun, but D2 never excited me like D1 did. Somehow that magic is gone. Strikes I could grind for hours in D1, but they’re so boring in D2. Apart from a few highlights (Whisper mission and Shattered Throne), the design of levels etc just doesn’t come close to a lot of D1 in my opinion.

46 답변작성자: ZayOsiris Gaming 9/29/2019 5:42:03 AMSo sick of you self entitled idiots pledging the forums. Clearly bungie is working hard enough as it is, and they don’t need whiny crybabies like you stirring up nonsense in regards to how they decide to balance their game. It’s not constructive, nor necessary. If you don’t like it, go play anthem. Go play borderlands. Or play Chinese checkers for all we care. Just stop picking at every little thing you see, and just be happy with what you’re getting. Jesus Christ

2 답변Don't worry, soon they'll add a "energy" mechanic to the game telling you how much you can... Oh wait that's resets desguised as "resets". This game was doomed to fail at the launch of D1. They had nowhere to go buy down.

Sounds about right. But also: The artifacts contain a 'special' perk you need to get past certain unkillable mobs. And you can ONLY apply that perk to a single weapon type each season. So basically Bungie now gets to tell us what guns we have to use! And apparently the new 'awesome' finishing moves will be Eververse products. We will now get to 'earn' Bright Dust. But of course, Bungie will be cutting out the old source of bright dust entirely! An E Engram now only one per Three levels, and what we don't want will no longer break down into bright dust! Destiny is a Shell game. A con. Now its going 'free to play' ????? Lol. Yea right.

No we’re not going back to Year 1 for this game. We’re going back to how the original Destiny had things in it’s last year pretty much with these changes. That’s a good thing. Activities are way too easy for the most part nowadays.

Periodic meta changes and power rescaling is a good thing, imo. This isn't Borderlands. Refreshes helps change things up, and helps things not get stale. Imo, the game is fun because of the gunplay. Even if things get nerfed or leveled out once in awhile, it just means the meta will change. We will again start figuring out new ways to be powerful and the best specs and ways to accomplish the challenges given to us by Bungie. I like change. I like having to adapt to new metas. If it never changed, we would still be stuck in the more bland metas of vanilla D2. It's been this way since the beginning of D1 launch. And will most likely continue. Players need to accept this, and adapt, instead of just complaining about how your, "favorite," loadouts or metas have changed, imo.

All of this is GOOD. 5 year olds do not need to get max power the 1st week. D2 has lost a lot of its challenge. These changes may bring some of it back.
Then again, it could stink. Guess we will see on Tuesday.
I'm looking forward to it actually. For all the negatives you mentioned, we are gaining new positive things added to the game. New weapons, new exotics, new strikes, raids. Armor can actually be customized. Pinnacle weapons are going away, so what?!?! PvP is actually going to be somewhat more balanced now. I wont have to see the same old meta constantly in the crucible. Enemies are to be harder to take down! That's awesome! Now we actually have to coordinate as a team in strikes and raids and not just blow through everything. Also you forgot that bungie is going to bring back difficulty levels. So if you want to still breeze through a strike, then set it in easy mode. I personally think people are more worried about not being able to be overpowered anymore in both PvP and PvE.

4 답변I couldn't agree more. I took a long hiatus from the game starting after I had beaten the curse of Osiris dlc, and before the warmind dlc dropped. The game was clearly dying at that time and I decided to focus on other games. Until about 3 months ago when I decided to come back and give the game another try. I was hooked, I was very happy with the then current state of the game and leveled all three of my characters to lvl 50 and above 700 light, I even changed my main from a void warlock bottom tree to a striker Titan bottom tree because I was having so much fun with the subclass. I have literally spent another 120 hours since coming back having a blast, and chasing down the weapons that when I finally got them were SO MUCH FUN TO USE (Spare Rations/Breakneck/Thorn/Last Word/Dust Rock Blues etc........) However, after hearing the changes coming with Shadowkeep, I feel like I just got punched in the gut. My spare rations with forth time the charm and multi kill clip will no longer be the god roll I once got so elated to receive, and that same case can be made for 90% of the weapons currently in my vault. It honestly feels like they are just trying to increase the grind indefinitely, especially with the seasonal artifact resetting at the end of every season. I don't play this game for the grind..... I play this game to experience the power fantasy of walking in to a room laying waste to all that dares oppose me, not to mind numbingly grind for eternity. The grind should be and is to me a means to an end, never the end itself. Honestly with the changes they are bringing into the game, I don't know if I even want to play anymore. Modern Warfare is looking REALLY GOOD and I'm honestly more hyped to play this call of duty more than any since Modern Warfare 1 back in 2007. I haven't bought Shadowkeep yet, and I may not, we'll just have to wait and see if the game is any good after Shadowkeep launches. I thought when activision left that the game would get better, but honestly it just seems to be getting consistently worse.

8 답변Bungie’s basic problem is they don’t really know how to design and manage this kind of ongoing game experience. The team generally doesn’t even see as far as the effects of the content they are about to release. Which is odd since once the design choices are described the flaws in the thinking are generally pretty obvious for people who actually play the game. Also why you see the halting starts and frequent resets of the way things work because they're just throwing stuff against the wall to see how it works and is received when It hits real players. There’s seemingly no one in the team who really at a basic level gets how players are going to feel about gameplay changes to filter out the dumb stuff before it gets there. And that might be OK as a design strategy if they quickly fixed and changed things when it becomes clear they're not working out. But they just don’t react fast enough when they get it wrong. And they always always always get something wrong. And by now it’s often just a repeats of things they got wrong before. TL;DR If you can’t invest in being good at game design you should at least invest in being fast at fixing bad design.
