Pre-Load / Play on Linux
I wanted to ask if it would be now safe to pre-load (& later play (october 1st)) Destiny 2 now on Linux, thanks to proton
I'm asking this because it is known that the Anit-Cheat System "Bans"/"Kicks" Linux users out, and thanks to proton it is "now downloadable" & playable on linux "natively"
if not supported / anti-cheat system still does it, could you(bungie) please add a note to the description | when possible on trying to download it on steam / when starting on linux?

Bungie is aware, they already said they will consider, but right now it's not supported and they said nothing because they are launching a expansion and there's already the whole platform change on pc, they have enough to worry about. Give it a few weeks.

11 답변Destiny requires windows to run. Use of any thing that can be considered emulation can result in a ban. The note on the Steam page notes that it requires Windows.
