Riven is extremely close to the top, but for me at least Kings Fall is one of the best. VoG was good when it was only that and Crotas End out, but now I feel as if people say its the best because of the feels they get.

I envy the people who did Crotas End, since I was 2 year Vanilla player on D1. Scourge of the Past is very enjoyable. Still Kings Fall from what I saw looks like a classic way of a boss fight, take a boss and multiply his size by 50.

15 답변Don't care for kings fall what so ever. To long, and found it rather boring. Especially the boss fight. I think my biggest issue is the fact that we actually feel rather worthless in the last fight given the fact that we don't really do much or anything to do the boss other than stun him. He for what ever reason spawns bombs that kill him. Basically he made a suicide machine and we just pressed the button. Crota had a similar thing but at least we actually had to use what was provided on crota himself, and the sword being present actually makes at least some sense, since it was a weapon used by basically his elite soldiers. Oryxs bombs make absolutely zero sense. For me the best raids have been wrath of the machine, along with scourge of the past, and I find crown of sorrow to be pretty good as well. They are a far better mix of mechanics and fighting. I like to be the one to kill the boss, not some mechanics.

작성자: Jared 9/23/2019 8:25:32 AMI remember getting to oryx for the first time, then seeing him rise up out from below the platform, the music roaring, and fight or flight kicking in. One of the few experiences that gave me an audible reaction. I still have dreams it.

5 답변I like the short raids. Crotas End, SoTP... I would rather have more short raids and have them more often. If they broke up some of these multi-hour (Looking at you Leviathan) raids into smaller bits I would be able to play them more often. Hard to commit that kind of time and run multiple times. Not looking for less difficult at all.

Not sure why it's taken me this long to notice, but D2 raid bosses are all static. They really don't move. The one exception being SoP, but even he is static during DPS phase... I'm kinda salty about it. Call it a late revelation, I guess. It really put things into perspective as to why raids feel dull in D2.

Kings fall definitely had the best “oh shit” moment with the oryx reveal but outside of that it was too boring and glitchy, did it maybe a year ago now, and that bug with the orbs not detonating is still a thing, the aura of invincibility not working is still a thing etc. But D1 does have the best raid, wrath of the machine, it embodies everything a destiny raid should be, it’s chaotic, it’s fun, it’s a healthy balance between gunplay and puzzle solving. Plus the music for wrath is 10/10

I’ve never actually managed to properly beat it so what do I know, but I think what makes it stand above the rest is the genuine sense of scale and the way it connections to the main campaign which only Last Wish has really been able to replicate.
