The fallen aren’t the darkness because they found the traveler before the humans and when it left it caused their collapse ( I believe it was called the whirlwind). After that the human race found the traveler. Why I say they aren’t part of the darkness is they found the traveler and used the light and if they were the darkness the would have destroyed the traveler. ( There are a few plot holes so take this with a grain of salt, also this is my opinion)

The fallen may not be part of the darkness but they are still enemies of humanity, them not using the darkness just means that they have no excuse for attacking humanity. The fallen were found by the Traveler and they never used the light.

Fallen and darkness are the truth and I will not believe the world of truth and I will not believe the world of the truth and truth is not the reason for it and not believe it is a good game and for the truth and I will not be happy to do that because they don’t want them and they have no reason for it.

If you look at all the factions, they are all just trying to survive while the traveler and it's dark twin use them/us as pawns in their war.

While there are some Fallen that follow the ideology of the light, most of the Fallen now follow the ideology of the Darkness. How do I know this? Most Fallen believe that by strength and conquest they can claim the powers of the Traveler, which is very similar to both Gaul's mission and the sword logic itself, both of which were heavily based in the ideologies of the traveler. Some Fallen, like Mithrax, are working alongside humans to protect the Traveler and other innocents, and hope to win the approval of the Traveler by doing so. This is a philosophy of the Light. Granted, the Fallen weren't created/influenced directly by the darkness like the Taken, Hive, Vex, and Scorn, but it's safe to say that most of the Fallen follow the ideologies of the Darkness

1 답변The Darkness isn’t a faction, more like a force or entity. The closest anything would be to being ‘part’ of the darkness is being subservient to it, or created by it, like the hive and taken, and possibly the Vex as well although we don’t know nearly enough about them to be sure of anything. The Fallen aren’t affiliated with the Darkness in any way, they’re just enemies of humanity because they want the Traveler back after it left them. Similar story with the Cabal. They aren’t connected with the Darkness in any way, they’re just an empire trying to conquer everything around them, which coincidentally happens to include earth and the guardians

7 답변Correct, the Fallen aren’t part of the Darkness. They’re just a species that the Traveler came to, then the Darkness caused the Whirlwind, and they want the Traveler back. The Vex also aren’t part of the Darkness. The Vex don’t relate to the Light or the Dark (except for Quria’s Vex, who practiced worshipping the Darkness to gain strength during the Osmium Incursion), and they are against the Light and the Dark. The Cabal also aren’t part of the Darkness. They’re just a species that conquers solar systems. They’re against the Light and the Dark.

작성자: The Song 9/17/2019 9:47:14 PMDid.... Did anyone ever think they were part of the darkness? I'm pretty sure literally everyone who ever played either game in this franchise fully understood that neither the Fallen, Vex, nor the Cabal are with the Darkness.

They may of possibly once been there intended to, the story was all over the place with no direction - well more so than now. In D1 they fell under the category “minions of darkness” at the beginning. I’m pretty sure it’s considered a well known fact they are not a part of the darkness for years now though.

The Fallen (their original name is the Eliksni) were reached by the Traveler and it granted them infinite Ether. With the help of the Traveler (that they called "The Great Machine") they lived their Golden Age exactly as us, the humanity. They even controlled many sol systems. The Whirlwind (the Collapse like event) started when the Traveler left them. We don't know exactly what it was, but we know that Oryx was probably there during this event because one of their Kells, Chelchis, Kell of Stone, was probably killed or Taken by him (there are two items in D1 that talk about this). In the aftermath, the surviving Fallen became embroiled in a bloody civil war over their civilization's ruins, before achieving a tenuous peace and embarking on a journey into space to locate the Traveler in order to return to greatness. They reached our sol system after our Collapse and they found the Traveler on earth. That's why they fight against us: they just want the Traveler back for them. Also the Vex and the Cabal are not linked to the Darkness. The only races actually conncted to the Darkness are the Hive and the Taken.
