And I knew that already. Not only am I a professional on networking, I had a friend of mine who also works on networking for both commercial and residential look into it. He’s verified that it’s on the side of bungee. Even verified everything with other games, just to be on the safe side.

If it turns out you do want help, you’ll need to post more information than your bandwidth. What error codes are you’re getting, what was your tested packet loss, ping, jitter etc., otherwise, your post is #feedback and should be made there, not #Help.

This right here is why you've seen the influx of attacking/non helpful responses in the help forums of late as you mentioned on the other thread. I'm not saying it's right, and I'm not saying it's wrong, but when majority of posters with connection issues come in with responses like you got and attitudes like the one above, it is human nature for people to eventually get fed up with it and respond the way you have been seeing.

Then how am I to respond with someone who comes at me with a cocky know it all attitude, when all others I have been cordial to? Now, I would have no problem answering a few questions for him if he wanted specifics, but, like I told another person (cordially I might add) I went to the extent of having a friend bring his equipment to test all aspects of my connection. So please, tell me how I’m suppose to come at someone who comes at me with attitude first?

Yeah, I get that. There’s plenty of people looking for “help” that just don’t have any manners or just want somewhere to vent. I usually try to avoid those posts, but not always. Sometimes I just want to point out their childish behavior to them in hopes they may eventually learn some manners and maybe even be able to say “thank you”.

Here’s a tip from a professional, don’t come at people with attitudes that make you seem high and mighty, you might get a lot further with people. You have questions, ask, don’t demean or try to make the person out as stupid. Next, if a majority (not “the majority,” I don’t want it to come across that way) have the same issue, maybe it’s not the person that has complaints fault, but maybe the fault of the creator. I’ve been on this earth a long time, and you saying I have an attitude when you start off the way you did? I take kindly to that. That’s why when everyone else asked a question, I gave an answer, except for you, who was rude off the bat. And I have every right to be upset when this issue is usually seldom, then in one day, happens every 5 minutes the whole day. The the next, it’s better, then the next, happens every 5 minutes.

Oh! And forgot the errors you wanted me to post. I only had one that gave me Honeydew, I got a couple chicken error codes, only once was I not able to connect to character servers. All the rest are "we cannot connect to bungie servers, if this continues, go to bungie.help." Paraphrased of course, since you took the "you" from one of my last posts as you in particular, not the company Bungie.

Funny thing is, you're calling the kettle black. You're the one that started with the condescending attitude. So, I'll tell you what. I'll give that information. Packet loss is 0%, DL 206, UL 201, ping 18 ms, jitter 4.8, I have both IPv6 and IPv4 set up on my OS, I use a Asus CM-32 Cable Modem Router Combo that was bought maybe 3 weeks ago. Now tell me to post somewhere else and try that condescending elsewhere. OH! And having a lower DL and UL will effect performance as well.

Those stats you provided should be fine and should not be the source of your issue. You still haven’t posted any trouble codes that you’re getting. These could help identify problems matching other players that could be caused by NAT issues, port forwarding, etc. Are you getting these issues on Console or PC or both? What troubleshooting steps have you performed (if any) to identify a possible issue? From what I can gather, the troubleshooting you have performed is to post on the forums and Insult everyone trying to help. How has that gone in resolving the problem? Not working? Maybe we should try a different approach, but I’m done. If you want to start a new post with a better attitude, maybe someone with more patience than me would be willing to lend a hand. Good luck.

Huh... that’s funny, the only person I gave an attitude towards was you because of you initial attitude towards me. I also did post my codes, like someone else asked, and I was very polite to her. My NAT is set to 0 for gaming, and I’m on PC, like another person asked, and I answered politely, because she was polite to me. I have reset the modem, had the company reset their stuff, my friend who works for the company came out with equipment to test everything from my end to their end. I even reinstalled Windows.
