If the Traveller once allied with the Eliksni did they have Light or Ghosts?
If the Traveller was once an ally of the Eliksni then did it grant them use of its light or create ghosts for them? And if so what happened to their ghosts and Lightbearers?
Is Mithrax an Eliksni Lightbearer?
I wish I could play as an Eliksni.
What about the possibility of Diplomacy with the House of Light or Variks new group?

Although the Eliksni did experience their own golden age, they were never gifted the ability to wield the light or ghosts of their own. To my knowledge, excluding the gift mast (a structure created by the traveler to generate light that was later destroyed by the hive) no one but guardians and the traveler wield the light. Eliksni such as Mithrax and Taniks have been noted to have the ability to resurrect themselves by unknown means (although in Tanik’s case, it’s likely due to the fact that he is more mechanical than organic due to all the upgrades his body has undergone). I would also LOVE playing as a fallen in D3 they’re my favorite enemy race.

2 답변No. The traveller blessed the Eliksni with their own golden age, as they did with us but when faced with, what we assume was the encroaching Darkness, the Traveller abandoned them in an event called the Whirlwind and their home world was destroyed/abandoned. When the same threat faced Earth and Humanity the Traveller instead chose to sacrifice itself (temporarily) making the Ghosts and allowing certain dead warriors to be reborn in the light as a last ditch attempt to protect itself and us.

3 답변I think the ghosts and lightbearers we just something the traveller did before it went dormant. I'm pretty sure the eliksni only experienced the golden age part (like our pre-collapse earth), then the traveller just left when the darkness showed up. Difference for us is that the traveller got damaged and stayed, making guardians as a last ditch effort to protect itself

3 답변Ghosts were created in a last ditch effort by The Traveler before it went dormant in order to create Guardians to protect it before the Darkness could arrive. Since the Eliksni became dependent on The Traveler's Light to survive (Servitors are artificial Travelers and Ether is artificial Light), it's likely they spent a lot more time with their Great Machine then however long our Golden Age lasted.

6 답변No, at least we haven't seen any. I doubt the Eliksne are incapable of bonding with a Ghost but right now the traveler is protecting humanity and not the Fallen

Traveller provided Eliksni Ether....and like humanity propelled their civilization. They might've had Ghosts if Golf Ball stayed.....as that's the only reason why we have Ghosts. Ghosts were Volleyballs response to near death. Create an almost unkillable army to defend....they didn't need direction as they would just kill to gain more and more power from all that opposed them. It's like an autoimmune response that keeps powering itself up.

There’s a theory that the ghosts are not a product of the traveler. Supposedly they are tied to the triangle ships since the heart in the blackgarden was once again supposedly a milestone for the recovery of the traveler. The traveler at the end of D2 sent out a pulse which beckoned those triangle ships to the whereabouts of the traveler and it looked like they were awaiting that beckon. It’s just a theory and can’t be confirmed until that story line progresses which I believe will carry on in D3 once this game reaches its technical capacity for content

4 답변The Traveler ditched the Eliksni before the Great Whirlwind and left them to fend for themselves. It was only after Rasputin practically anchored it to Earth that it created the Ghosts. Now some Eliksni might have the potential to be Lightbearers, but we haven't seen an Eliksni Guardian thus far. Mithrax or even Variks would be very interesting to see as Guardians, but at the same time they'd lose their memories which are probably more important to the story atm.

So yes. There WERE Eliksni Guardians. Mithrax is one such Guardian, but only Humanity was given the Light. So only Humanity are Lightbearers. Oh, and “Risen”. The Risen are the people who are just recently revived by Ghosts. Not Guardians yet. Like Uldren. Uldren is not a Guardian, he is a Risen. Orin wasn’t a Guardian, she was a Risen. The Drifter isn’t a Guardian. He is a Risen. But that’s a whole other story...

5 답변<No Lightbearers before this time, at least not in a while. There's never been a Ghost before the Collapse, but the Harmony and Ammonite species are mentioned carrying paracausal powers or at least utilizing them.>
