So we’ve heard the news on the nerf. A lot of us are 50 50 about it as shown in other polls. As you can easily guess? I don’t agree with it one bit personally having played all 3 classes.
Disclaimer: I wish no misfortune upon Datto, I have watched his content until recently but I have friends who watch his content still. I speak with them and discuss things. He is a streamer and a destiny content creator and this post may as well be free real estate for him. Coding, designing a raid or anything else is a difficult task. I’ll acknowledge that. This community will find ways to break the game once again and this cycle will repeat. I don’t like Datto, but that’s just me. You’re free to your own thoughts. Datto himself speaks for his community as it’s been said repeatedly in the comment section below. Datto merely said something I disagree with, that’s a difference in opinion. Remember, streamers are people and are human.
Personally I don’t even agree with this nerf playing all 3 classes and someone who knows streamers most definitely represent their communities. Within Respect I know we’re very very much conflicted on what we want. we’re people and that’s how it ends up being. By this point I’m mostly curious. I’m genuinely unhappy with it but as I said? Coding and AI are hard to make decent. I’ve already done the song and dance with balance and game breaking things. There’s a lot of room for discussion. I know the streamers mention a lot of things, Bungie listens to them. Try to be somewhat civil because I won’t try to insult him; if I recall Datto admits he wants the game to be harder and he’s on the elite side of the community. I’ll still play the game during Shadowkeep. but I do feel like warlocks and titans are now closer to being useless.
Edit: This post was edited heavily. I expect the poll votes to change heavily. I am slow, not stupid. This post is quite literally a literal hellhole where everyone apparently can speak freely. I like being civil, I’m human after all.
Remember, I speak for myself. I don’t speak for the community so don’t misconceive me as trying to do so.

3 답변No, there is no community cause Division 2 and Anthem killed Destiny. Oh dont forget. Borderlands will kill the dead game too. So no- there are no streamers for destiny as a dumb person would make content for a dead game.
Cough cough hint hint nudge nudge
82 답변The guy plays Destiny for a living. He has an elite group of guardians he plays with. For those two reasons, Datto can NEVER claim to represent the community. Datto has no idea what it's like to jump on Saturday night, on your only day off, jump on lfg, and try to find a halfway decent raid group, only to fail at the final boss over and over and over. Datto has no idea what it's like to have not played pvp for two months because you had life in the way and whenever you were on you were taking care of PvE stuff and then you jump into crucible and get pubstomped by 6 stacks. There is just literally no way he can ever possibly represent the majority of the community, because his life and the way he plays the game is so VASTLY different than most people.

작성자: W33DEDPLAGUE 9/9/2019 4:35:56 AMNobody represents the whole community. This community is FULL of people who all have different ideas, just like anything in life. I dont always agree or disagree with them as is to be expected. But I do know this: Bungie doesn't make changes to the game just because streamers talk about or suggest it. They probably do take a closer look at things they may not have looked at on their own, because streamers bring it up, but the streamers don't make changes to the game. Imagine changing your entire product, the basis of your job, your living, because a few of your thousands of customers say you should. Bungie takes a lot of data into account when deciding changes and streamer suggestions are a very small part of that process. It would make zero sense to let your product be designed by people who don't even work for your company. It makes total sense to pay attention to members of the community that influence and/or represent a larger part of your customer-base for issues to consider though...and that's what they do. It's almost like streamers are a survey for Bungie, they understand that the overwhelming majority of their players aren't streamers, so it would be foolish to accept a streamers word as gospel when adjusting the game for the overall customer.

In its Elitist Pleasing Quest, Destiny has forgotten that it is a video game. Video Games are supposed to be entertaining first. We are just catering to elitist No Lifes that play video games for a living. Makes no sense. This elitism is why the community has soured and is so toxic. Ps. Here is a mind blowing solution to the whole "xyz ability/weapon combo makes the game to easy"... ready? USE SOMETHING ELSE. If you belong to an Elitist community, set challenges and rules within yourselves for record keeping. You know? Ban certain weapons or abilities. There. Leave the rest of us who don't give 2 shits about Worlds First or any non sense. I am here to play and have fun, not to compare penis size with no lifers.

Streamers as a whole do speak for the community, but of course a SINGLE streamer does not. Your title is misleading, it should be called does DATTO speak for the community, which he only speaks for a small portion of the community. It’s the same as politics, no ONE makes up the WHOLE.

1 답변I used to watch his YouTube videos. But I find him arrogant and egotistical nowadays. Bungie should concentrate/listen more on the majority and less to the tubers. I’ve played since the beginning of D1 and have spent a considerable amount of money, which should count for something.

Datto and other streamers surely don't represent Destiny player base. Streamers also don't care about the game similar as a regular Guardian. Regular Guardian plays Destiny to enjoy their gaming hobby Streamers play Destiny to make money Both groups have different agendas within the game. Streamers always will support the game to get harder and complicated so they can make stupid 10 minute useless video's to create income through Youtube and Twitch. If the game gets complicated players will need better players carrying them. We can all remember Trials of Carries. When trials ended they started selling Luna , Not Forgotten carries. There are even numerous websites design to sell raid carries and streamers also offer similar services. Despite this is forbidden through Bungie , Sony , xBox terms and conditions none of these companies will do anything to prevent it. Bungie cares for streamers because Bungie doesn't have money to spend on marketing as before. Streamers market the game on Twitch and Youtube so Bungie can spend less money on it. Thats why Bungie will always cater to streamers. Twitch and Youtube basically together slowly killing gaming imo...

No , most are just nerds looking for anything to grow their channels. Mtash for example, he will say destiny is terrible and jump ship, then he will promote a different game like it’s the best thing since sliced cheese, then come back to destiny like it’s the best creation since cell phones.

Datto, has made some of the most idiotic remarks praising stupid decision Bungie has made nerfing the fun out of Destiny since D1. The funny thing about him is from memory its SoS raid, he had to get people from other clan's to carry him to his first completion. i think he had to grab gigz, slayer, beaman etc. Abandoned his own team of players for the completion.
