I'm always being told things like:
"You are not a bear, bears don’t type on computers or live in houses with internet."
Or,
"Stop acting like you are a bear, bears can't speak or write."
I want to put these criticisms to rest.
I am a bear. Bears do human things all the time. I am living proof that a bear can do human things. All animals are dynamic beings with limitless potential. Humans focus on the differences between living things, so that they can use those differences to justify calling themselves the superior animal. But no animal is better than another. Every animal being has limitless potential, and we choose to identify in different ways. Many people who were raised to believe they were human (such as myself), eventually come to discover their actual identity as a fluid animal being. I've heard stories from conservationists, ecologists, and outdoors enthusiasts who all say they've seen many kinds of animals acting in ways that do not conform to their traditional species designation. Some bears have a squirrel side, while some deer can seem almost catlike in the way they move.
This indicates that all animals share a wide spectrum of a fluid identity experience. We all see ourselves as we choose to see ourselves. And that self understanding defines what animal we are. It is not dna. It is not fur. It is not even what humans like to call "civilization". None of these things define an animal, animals define themselves. Thus, I am a bear. I am part of the larger community of bears. When ever I do a human thing, I prove that a bear can engage in human activities and still be a bear.

작성자: LahDsai 9/5/2019 3:44:22 PMThe fundamental flaw with this argument is that a bear, by definition, should do bear things. Conversely, humans do human things. That is, unless what makes a bear a bear is not the course of its actions, but rather its physiology, ie: a bear has the body of a bear. A creature with the body of a human would thusly be human. As the old saying goes:
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.
The inverse of this is that if a creature neither looks nor acts like a bear, it is safe to assume it is not a bear.

I don’t believe bears have internal dialogue like humans, thus making you not a bear. Not because you may act like a human at times, but physically, psychologically, mentally, and on all other planes of perception, you are a human.

What I want to know is how you got that stuff. If you are what you say, there is no way to get that stuff without human interaction. And they wouldn't understand you. You are thus a thief. You had to steal every human item you own

Well....*sips coffee* the way I see it if you want to live your life this way then go for it. I relate with animals better and I know that there are individual members of species who don't always follow natural behavior. I have a cat that thinks its a dog and I used to have a chicken that thought it was a duck. Nature can be a nutty gal!

1 답변You're not a bear, because a bear does not know it is a bear. Just like a rabbit doesn't know it is a rabbit, or how a snake doesn't know it is a snake. They know what bears do, and what other "bears" look like, but they do not possess the mental capability of self definition One day you'll pass away and as the funeral directors embalms your body they'll write down on their little green papers: deceased human male.
