It is so easy to streamroll content in this game. I think it’s safe to say that the most overpowered weapons/builds in history exist currently. If we had the option to use these builds/weapons in d1, we would because they are the definition of powerful. So how can you say bungie doesn’t want us to be powerful??

Because they keep taking it away. Months ago we had buffs to many exotics, which many have already been toned down/destroyed. What's going to separate lunas from ophidians now? Both will have fast reloading, but if that's all lunas have they'll be worthless. Much of my time is played solo due to time constraints and I see the difference between prepared teams and pick ups.

Lunas will now give fast reload, armor 2.0 will allow to build Lunas how you want leaving your arms to build with anything you like without having to use enhanced reloading on them . You also have Tranverse steps which you can basically run in a circle and reload . Although I'm tired of the constant adjustments i think it's a better trade off than nuking grenade launchers into the ground and making them useless again .

Yes, but he also made clear that he is a solo player, which means that Ophidians will be far more useful for him than Lunafaction boots even though they both grant a fast reload. Bungie is making these changes due to the game being too easy for teams that constantly stack Well/Rifts/Rally Barricade, but they aren’t really worrying about the more casual audience that doesn’t or rarely does endgame activities. For the average nightfall or heroic strike, the Well is up for 30 seconds then that’s it. They might throw down a rift afterwards.

Luna’s will mean you are giving up handling and weapon dexterity for an entire team reload buff within well, which can be really powerful in team activities where Luna’s would be potentially buffing 6 players. Meanwhile, ophidian gives a stronger single player buff, ideal for solo play/pvp.

작성자: Lots of Dogs 9/6/2019 3:32:55 AMSo Lunafaction exotic perk is a reload your gun faster perk for 6, but only inside of a well, and we’re really trying to say that’s not a gut job? AYFKM?!?!? To say that perk would be helpful is probably true. But to pretend it’s an appropriate “exotic” perk... Why wouldn’t you just put a reloader on your gloves and save the exotic slot AND have reload help wherever you are regardless of well status?

If changes to rally and WoR are true, a lot of things are going to change. Not for the good either. I don’t mind bosses being sponges if our weapons do hella damage. But when weapons are constantly getting adjusted (nerfed) it makes it harder.

I don’t quarrel with the logic. BUT... if the argument is that encounters are too easy because organized groups discuss and determine THAT is the strategy they are employing, they KNOW they are making things easier and their insistence on doing it that way means they PREFER doing it that way. So if player preference is so widespread and everybody is performing within the bounds of the game’s programming I seriously don’t get Bungie’s hardon for nerfing this and that into the ground. If the players want to employ the easy mode, let them. For those who think “easy mode” is BS, you and your crew equip something different. NOTHING is forcing them to follow the meta. Bungie pretending they have to do this because it’s too easy is complete BS. It’s not accidentally too easy for these players: it’s proactively so. If people wanted a real challenge they’d do so. They can talk all day long about how well/Luna is “required” but it’s not. Many complete raids all day without running those. The real reason is Bungie doesn’t like players finding ways around their hoops. Period.

Take calus for example. I remember clearing him using cold heart to kill him, this was before the skull glitch was a thing. I totally agree with you, there are different ways to kill bosses. Bungie just doesn’t want you to win that fast it seems which sucks.
