Maybe. Bungie’s answer to this might actually determine whether or not I keep going.

If you don't mind telling me, why? If you enjoy the gameplay, why would the possible look of the raid armor, negatively impact your gameplay? And if you don't enjoy the gameplay, why still play any way, regardless of how the raid armor looks? If the perks/mods are decent, the look doesn't really matter anymore with armor 2.0. You can find a set you do like, and simply put the raid mods on that. I can kind of understand this stance prior to armor 2.0, but not after.

Im gonna quit if its true. Im a hardcore player, love the game, but if the main raid armor is reskins, yet the cool looking style we saw in the vidoc is ornaments only available in eververse. Im out. Im not adverse to a paid store, but once the cooler looking shit in eververse outweighs earned endgame gear, whats the point.

So the main reason you play, is because of the Barbie mechanic found in the Destiny universe? And by Barbie mechanic, I mean the, "I want to dress up my Guardians to be the prettiest at the ball," pursuit that some who play seem to worry about too much, imo? You see what your guardian's back looks like while you run around in the tower. Yippee! Or while you look at your equipment page. Yay! As long as people know what the raid sets look like, regardless of how they look, others can still see you wear your accomplishments. Or look at your Raid specific title, and know you are a true Bada$$. So why does what the armor actually looks like matter at all?

Because its a looter shooter? Cool looking loot and badass guns is kind of the objective bud, the game is fun too obviously, but these games are always about the cool shit. Id just prefer to earn that cool shit than get directed to a store front. Emotes, ghosts, sparrows, projections, they can sell those til their hearts content. I dont care about non usable cosmetics. But like, when weve had 0 vendor refreshes in every dlc, yet eververse continues to get a fully stocked unique refresh every season, its time to call a spade a spade. But if youre still having fun, more power to you bro, it is a good game.

Don't get me wrong I understand wanting to look kool. But in a FPS, where you almost never see yourself compared to a game that's in third person, so you always see yourself, it would seemingly mean less. I get the frustration with kool looking gear being locked in eververse. But with Bungie's response of, "we will discuss that more, later," leads me to believe that there are raid specific ornaments, tied to something other than just purchasing eververse items. I get that many in this community think that Bungie doesn't pay attention to our feedback, but I whole heartedly disagree with that train of thought. And believe they can predict the outrage from the raiding community, and won't make that mistake. Hopefully, they explain it soon. So you and others that share your mindset, can and will be satisfied with raid gear. Thanks for remaining civil, and have a great night!

Bro, i go into 3rd person all the time, in the tower, roaming, supers, on my sparrow. Yeh, we spend more time in first person, but the aim of looter shooters is to look good. I dunno, im just tired of amazing games succumbing to the trashy battlepass, f2p style shitty progression systems. This game is amazing, but it pains me seeing this shit honestly. And thank you for being civil too, and have fun out there bud 😊
