[/spoiler] [b]TLDR I want this teased weapon to be a new legendary energy archetype either a Trace Rifle or LFR. [/b][url=https://imgur.com/PyTXIVx]Photo link 1[/url] [url=https://imgur.com/CYpnJj0]Photo link 2[/url] So it'll be a time till anything happens in Destiny and lull periods always spark my curiosity (and Reddit seems to be down so I'm posting this here.) I was looking at this weapon here that came from a PAX leak that I linked in the photos above. It is obviously an energy weapon as the direction has it pointing to the top right, but looking at the design and the placement of the clip (under the trigger/handle) I believe it to be a traditional fusion rifle. However, I want to think this could be an upcoming energy LFR or maybe even a new legendary trace rifle. Legendary trace rifles would be a welcome change of pace in the meta right now and has been something the community has been interested in since the weapon type [Coldheart] was teased in the D2 vanilla Pre-order. Rn we have 3 different exotic trace rifles and come SK all 3 will be available to every D2 player as the PS4 exclusive agreement will have been lifted. It would be cool for Bungie to celebrate their game being entirely there own by surprising us with a legendary weapon pool update that could bring Destiny to a more RPG/FPS. Or, could be an LFR in the energy slot instead of heavy. Heavy LFR's feel underwhelming and we already know they work very well as a special weapon in the case of the exotic Arbalest introduced in the BA seasonal content. The LFR's feel like they should be brought out of the heavy slot and into the energy slot as special weapons or just given an increase in damage to be able to compete with other heavies and special snipers. However, it's probably just another fusion rifle and there is nothing special about it. was this post worth it Chicken? no, no it was not lmao. September is going to be looooooooong.
