Whether it’s what you’ve been reading lately, or a book you will always love, what are your favorites, my fellow forum dwellers?!
My favorite book is definitely the classic Dracula by Bram Stoker. Some others I’ve loved are A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles, The Art of War by Sun Tzu, and Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck.
I like some of the classics if you can’t tell.
1 답변Probably “The Martian”. It’s an amazing scientific read, as well as a damn comedy. “Mark, watch your language!” “Look, a pair of boobs—>[Redacted]”

6 답변My fav has gotta be "12 rules for life" by Jordan Peterson. Currently reading through his first book, which is rather difficult tbh. Im also thinking of picking up either Dostoyevsky's "Notes from the underground" or Solzenitzyn's "The gulag archepelago". But im not sure about which one would be better to read first, atm im thinking Dostoyevsky.

1 답변작성자: Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds 8/31/2019 3:19:01 PMFiction: Hyperion by Dan Simmons, as well as it’s sequel The Fall of Hyperion. I still need to read the two following books that take place significantly after the events of those two. I heard there not quite as good, but still worth reading. It’s not really like any other science fiction I’ve read. If done correctly and faithfully I think it would make for an amazing HBO series. I just don’t see anyone being able to translate it to screen well enough though. Non-fiction: God is not Great by Christopher Hitchens. An intelligent, brutally honest, and I think very accurate criticism of theism, specifically the Abrahamic beliefs.
