I just watched a really good video from Aztecross about subclass abilities from D1 that he would like to see return in D2. It reminded me of how much fun the Fireborn ability was. For those who did not play D1 it enabled Solar Warlocks to self res from the dead by hitting their super. It had a lot of uses in both PVP and PVE. It saved many a Raid, Nightfall and Heroic Strike from disaster. But it was really the most fun in PVP. Even in the last year of D1 players would be taken off guard by it. The best (and most fun) use was when you were killed at a Control Zone (particularly if there were several opposing players there). The key to using it properly was to wait 4 or 5 seconds before activating it (amateurs would hit it right away and most times would end up get nailed right away too) and just as 4 or more guardians would be doing their victory dance while capping the zone (or even better t-bagging you) BOOM you self res and take out all of them! That was always a riot! Anyone else miss this?

One of my favourite snipes in pvp was on a self res warlock, they had the exotic(?) That blinded people when they self rezzed and i just randomly flick shotted them in the head. That being said i dont think i particularly miss it in the game when it comes to pvp, as for pve i kinda like that it went away because i feel like warlocks would play super loose because they could self rez. Which was fine until you would hear in the comms "oh i dont have self rez" and you pan over to where they died and they may aswell be in -blam!-ing narnia hahaha.
