I just watched a really good video from Aztecross about subclass abilities from D1 that he would like to see return in D2. It reminded me of how much fun the Fireborn ability was. For those who did not play D1 it enabled Solar Warlocks to self res from the dead by hitting their super. It had a lot of uses in both PVP and PVE. It saved many a Raid, Nightfall and Heroic Strike from disaster. But it was really the most fun in PVP. Even in the last year of D1 players would be taken off guard by it. The best (and most fun) use was when you were killed at a Control Zone (particularly if there were several opposing players there). The key to using it properly was to wait 4 or 5 seconds before activating it (amateurs would hit it right away and most times would end up get nailed right away too) and just as 4 or more guardians would be doing their victory dance while capping the zone (or even better t-bagging you) BOOM you self res and take out all of them! That was always a riot! Anyone else miss this?

Hell yes F!@#+ a dawn blade. And F!@#k a well. In d1 no one expected anything of a warlock you could do you. Now every team every post requires you to run a well. I'll take self rez over that anyway. Your warlocks not a dam healer . There has ass elemental space monks. On par with some shaolin. Type shhhh. But that's not how they feel. Warlocks suck in D2. Idk why they cant just add self rez to your new skill tree. Self rez is what made your warlock feel special. Its thr magic element of the game. Takes away from the lore and that feel not having it. All because these PVP babys. Wanted to cry about it. Screw pvp

The Dregens Ghosts begins to glow with demonic energy and with out any warning the downed Dregen eurpts forth in a pillar of corrupted flames. Then the Dregen lobes an endless wave of grenades at them for Shaxx had taught him well. The guardians flea in terror, for none of them remembered to bring a Jotun."

1 답변YES! Please Bungie bring self-res back! This was one of the many things that made Destiny a unique PVP game compared to other games, was great fun and even going against self-res in trials was an awesome challenge. Although, going against 3 self-res' in trials was something to behold

20 답변Nope. I was tired of LFG groups demanding every warlock to have it on. Well of Radiance is the same deal now, but still.

2 답변I miss lance more than anything, I also miss the true devour perk from D1. Voidwalker was one of the best classes in D1, its been downgraded a lot in D2

1 답변It had its moments, but as a raider and warlock main I didn’t like having to devote my subclass to insurance for if I’m a derp under threat of kick.

7 답변No. I do NOT miss super hoarding. I do NOT miss having to hard scope a dead ghost waiting for the lock to self rez. I definitely do NOT miss being asked why Im raiding as a voidwalker not a sunsinger. The only things I do miss about Sunsingers were Viking Funeral and Touch of Flame.

1 답변To all the "its a crutch crowed"...…… Self-rez was just one more thing you had to account for in PVP....not PVE. You had to be smarter and that's why you didn't like it. You knew that the lock could do it you just didn't know when he was going to do it. Now PVP is very straight forward. It doesn't take much thinking and its lacking in depth.....kind of like PVE now. You can sleep walk through a match.....throw in some more "unknown" and you have a real game. Self-rez added to that depth. It was "the answer" but it was part of the puzzle. PVP has been dumbed down since then.
