If you read my synopsis of each, it's pretty self explanatory.
I dislike what sports have become.
It's all ego, how many millions of dollars are paid on sport celebs, and nothing like it was 20 years ago or more. The sports used to be about team work. Now all you here about are the ones holding out on signing their contract until they get more money, ego with more ego, or the ones in trouble with the law for an amazing amount of reasons.
I stopped watching the NBA when Michael Jordan retired for the last time.
I stopped watching the NFL when Dan Marino retired.
I never could bring myself to watch soccer, tennis, or hockey.
Are there some admirable athletes? Sure, but they are far overshadowed by the other things I mentioned.
I watch and love motorsports. There is hardly any of that stuff going on there, where the entire team needs to all be working everything perfectly in a game of thousandths of seconds. I find it sad that more people don't appreciate it.
