You're just going to be told to spend more money on an ssd, it's pointless bringing it up. Anyone with half a brain knows what the issue is and it's not the console.

The console is the problem. Destiny isn't the only advanced game that has major loading issues. If you have a ssd and it cuts the load times in half there is obviously a hardware problem. But again everything is Bungie's fault around here.....

Well if you actually understood the point being made you would realise that they started destiny in console, correct? Destiny 2 was designed for a 4 year old console with no word of another generation being released until this year. Agreed? So they signed and released a game designed for xbox one knowing the limitations, with me so far? They know that the content isnt optimised, they admit as much. They still keep adding crap with out addressing the way the console has to load the content. So you design something for X which you know X will not be able to run seamlessly in say 6 months. And your saying the console is at fault?

As a D1, which was exclusive to console, player I expect to play D2 on the platform it was release on with out needed to but extra hardware. If you liked being fleeced good for you, some of us dont.

Consoles were never meant to compete with PCs, I find that PCs excel at RTS, RPG/MMOs and Sims. Fps games are easier in a pc too, but I like to chill out on the sofa when I play. Horses for courses. But aye a modular console would be yummy

How old was xbox one when they released destiny 2? 4 years approx right? So they knew what the consoles capabilities were, they'd already done D1, theres been nothing about another gen console until recently, so Bungie knew the hardware wasnt going to improve for a few years. Yet they continued to design and release content with out trying to optimise, adding I things like gambit, gambit prime, the reckoning, the various events all the crap from eververse the events knowing that this wasn't sustainable. Yet they did it anyway, failed to set anyones expectations. The end result is now people being told to buy extra hardware and it's clear that the issue is much much worse than this band aid. Hence the removing content after the season is over because None of the consoles could handle it. And you say they did nothing wrong?

Literally everything you described works fine on my console? And the game seems pretty sustainable? Things could always be done better but that doesn’t mean they did anything inherently wrong. So yeah, while they continue to support a game that I and countless other can happily spend thousands of hours playing I’ll support their choices.
