You really need to increase the drop rate of exotics I've spent hundreds of pound so far on destiny 2 with all dlc collectors editions etc and up until forsaken it was fun new exotics would release and over the space of a couple of months I'd collect them since forsaken and the nerf to drop rate I don't get exotics dropping in the past year I've played solid I've had 3 1 new 2 duplicate you say it's to make it more special when you receive one but it's not its made the game depressing and not fun knowing I can't get titles in the game or a trophy because I don't have good rng it's ridiculous I didn't pay all this money to never get to enjoy exotics and now with shadow keep you're going to show off another set maybe in 20 years I'll have the exotics from 2 years ago and still never get to enjoy these so what's my reason for continuing to buy dlc?

You must have bad RnG. I was playing the other day and got three within 2 1/2 hours, one being Jotunn. Granted, it's not always like that but I have to say that they are rare enough to feel exotic but not so scarce that I feel like they don't exist.

2 답변The original exotic drop rate was far too high. Right now it feels balanced. Your RNG is no better or worse than anyone else’s. What they should do, is lower the drop rates for certain exotics but allow them to remain overpowered, especially the super regenerating exotics like skull and shards. We all have droughts of exotics from time to time, no point in coming to forums because you won’t find much sincere sympathy here. I understand you needed to vent but please stop asking to have everything quickly. It ends up shortening the game’s life and does nothing for replayability

9 답변작성자: Dredgen Jäger 8/22/2019 9:25:08 AMHere’s an amazing solution, instead of complaining on forums because you have a hard time getting exotics from random drops, consider the following. Bungie is working on a DLC larger than any others they have created thus far, the DLCs before Shadowkeep has had the help of Activision, but they dropped out and left bungie with everything they was ment to do as a conglomerate. So they are trying their best with what people and resources they have. You can go to Xur every weekend to trade Legendary shards for exotic weapons and armor (or even a randomized engram) Which is significantly easier than getting them from drops. The drop rate is so low because you can already get one every single week because of Xur. They’re not gonna make them drop more often because then it won’t be an added challenge for players, exotic weapons are ment to deal great damage while also showing other players their dedication to the game. Simply work to get and dismantle legendary weapons and armor to get the shards, and use them to collect exotics from Xur. If that’s too hard then you don’t deserve the exotics to begin with. They have better things to work on (called priorities) than a drop rate that doesn’t need fixed. If you can’t handle bungie not being able to handle everything at once then you should probably uninstall the game, and try and find a different one to get into. Thank you for your time.

4 답변작성자: Pocket Fox 8/22/2019 11:38:30 AMThe Tess diet strategy seemed to work for me, but that's anecdotal has hell. Catalysts count as exotic drops btw. This is either good or bad depending on what it is you're looking for.

Seeing as Exotic gear will now be limited by elemental affinities, we’re gonna need them to either drop more often or be allowed to be rerolled. Ideally, I think the elemental affinity needs to be made universal; but that’s probably a pipedream.

10 답변I’ve saved every exotic engram I’ve gotten since January to wait for an expansion worthy of its redemption. I have 1 engram.

7 답변Tbh the exotic drop rate isn't as bad as compared to destiny 1, I had the game for about a couple weeks now (I got the game when the sale was going on for Xbox, the ENTIRE destiny 2 game with all the dlcs was only $40) and I got 4 exotic drops from random enemies

7 답변How recently have you played, man? I think exotic drop rates are good. They drop often enough to not feel like you never get them, but rarely enough that it feels like a genuine, huge surprise to see them. Legendaries drop more often now to tide people over and when that gold piece of candy rolls across the floor or ends up in the post master, it's great. You might think you just wanna farm exotics like public events like in Vanilla, but you don't. Ask me how I know.

Exotic drop rates are low so that they actually feel special and rare. Year 1 was a joke partly because of the absurdly high drop rates. They weren't exotic, they were common. If they ever do increase the drop rates, they should at least stop calling them exotics. They wouldn't deserve that title if they were any more common.

2 답변Here's my perspective on exotic drop rates: Exotic weapons should either be tied to quests or have a streamlined way of dropping them (like raid and forge exotics), and armour either needs to have a much higher drop rate (due to random stats and perks). That or they could reintroduce glass needles, but i'm afraid Bung hole would screw it up by making the cost to purchase them totally absurd. They also need to increase the drop rate for raid exotics incrementally after every completion. Because who here honestly loves running the same raid 50+ times for one single weapon?

2 답변The drop rate has gone to zero it seems. I guess it's one of those features of the last patch. I had to buy some from Xur to get any exotics. lol

Another thing that allot of people aren't taking into consideration when they think this is just a self entitled gamer wanting everything easily it's not by the way I play every day since d1 closed beta and play all content endgame. But there are titles linked to exotics that have come down to rng not time spent grinding. On top of that random roles has made it so you want to attain the best role if you are lucky like some of the people replying to this thread its all great for you which is why you're on here saying everything is fine. But if you're one of the other 50 percent of players who get nothing 1 drop in a year then how do we even hope to get the exotics let alone the perfect role, and to top that off when shadowkeep launches every exotic armour piece becomes useless meaning needing to get the new 2.0 versions to drop, meaning for majority of players we'll never get to experience any of the new exotics let alone complete our collection of the last ones, and forget getting your ideal role. Give me all the grind in the world I'll spend any amount of hours grinding but I want to at least know I am doing it for an eventual reward otherwise the whole point of the game is lost. No reason to grind no point in playing and I want this game to continue to thrive and succeed but it won't unless they make changes.

Couldn't agree more. There really needs to be an improvement of some sort. Whether it be target farming certain exotics (maybe like you select it from collections and then a progress bar can be filled up by doing activities, the harder the content the faster it fills up). Or when you hit near max light you can toggle to increase exotic droprates.

1 답변Decrease drop rate. Its way too high. Exotics are very common and this should never happen

3 답변I get like 2-3 exotics a week on each character. It’s so weird (all duplicates since I have everything) I just wish they’d give you more for dismantling them.
