Bungie, I’m not buying your season pass.
1) you will be removing the content every season, therefore, it’s basically me renting content.
I don’t care what anybody says but it’s just a bad business practice and I encourage everyone not to buy the season pass.
You should remove mercury and gambit.

You assume it's going to be like what came before. There's every indication that the new seasonal content will be more disposable/temporary by design. Think less Forges and Reckoning, and more EAZ and Haunted Forest type activities. Also, saying Mercury (a paid piece of DLC) should go undercuts your entire argument.

92 답변1. Game cannot continue to grow without limitations. This is easy to understand. Consoles especially, have finite resources. 2. Seasonal Activities are pointless after the season concludes. Depending on how much you play, it's likely you are finished in 6-8 weeks. Menagerie for example, once you have all the gear, and max the chalice, the activity is useless. I haven't gone in there in over a month. Its a waste of time, resources, and space to continue with it. 3. Boycotts are ineffective, and unless the goal is to kill the game (which doesn't make sense, just quit totally), and many developers (remember this is their job), consider these as threats. Do "xyz" or we will destroy your life? Cmon we are better than this. If you don't like Destiny fine. But some of these suggestions I see on the forums like "Fire the Art Guys" or "Not a dime until you do what I say", is ridiculous fit throwing. Make a suggestions post, or feedback, or just quit. Acting this way doesn't serve any purpose, and frankly it's cringey and embarrassing.

10 답변The irony is that they are leaving 2 year old content in the game while giving it away for free only to take away fresh content that EVERYONE has to pay for. If you HAVE to delete content, delete that shtt show called year 1. No one is going to run the campaign at 750 LL.

4 답변The fact that the dlc is technically finished comes out a little over a month away and the only things shown were the directors cut and a stream about armor changes.. none of the content was shown should be concerning. I'll never understand the destiny community, you complain about the quality and amount of content. Luke comes out and says content is hard we struggle making copy paste horde modes and everyone pre orders anyway.

9 답변Removing Mercury wouldn’t save space, nor would Gambit. The only files that take up real space are cinematic’s and music. Bungie just don’t want to balance old content anymore so it’s easier to just remove it and say it’s in order to save space.

I get where you're coming from dude but we're already renting the content we play. We've been doing that since D1. Actually read the LSLA before agreeing to it or even buying the game online or in person. Everyone has it on their sites or storefront. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page here on Bungie.net you'll find these terms for yourself The key parts in this discussion reads as follows: OWNERSHIP: All title, ownership rights, and intellectual property rights in and to the Program and any copies thereof are owned by Bungie. This Program is protected by the copyright laws of the United States, international copyright treaties, and conventions and other laws. This Program contains certain licensed materials, and Bungie’s licensors may protect their rights in the event of any violation of this Agreement. SERVICE PROVIDED CONTENT: “Service Provided Content" consists of those materials provided to Program users (e.g., unlockable content, accounts, stats, virtual assets, virtual currencies, codes, and achievements) in connection with use of the Program. While the Program may allow you to “earn”, "buy", or "purchase" Service Provided Content within or in connection with gameplay, you do not in fact own or have any property interest in the Service Provided Content. Unless otherwise specified in writing, any Service Provided Content that you receive is licensed to you as set forth herein, and you shall have no ownership right thereto.

10 답변I agree. For those who are still considering it: -BL3 will provide a better "fantasy" and "space magic" than D2 along with more guns that aren't just reskins. It will provide a much more diverse PVE experience than D2. -Halo: MCC on PC will provide a much better PVP experience than D2 ever has. These titles will grant both PvE and PvP itches that we crave and the quality will be significantly better. I also don't see these two studios being driven by greed or deception as they put most of their budgets into the actual game instead of marketing like Bungie does.

I'm not buying it either because mark noseworthy just wants to fugma ass and deny matchmaking or group finding for the good activities and ditch me to go on lfg where I got to get my checkpoints stolen and booted or wait until my clan gets on which most of them quit and ain't never gonna play again

add sparrows to mercury leave gambit because why would you throw away a toy? finally, rotate the events, don't straight up delete em, and i think i heard this is what they were doing, or at least giving ppl a chance to get the items later if they missed it
-
Yeah sounds pretty fishy given their known technical limitations. Worse case scenario is they will reskin the removed content add a few quest lines and weapons and say..."Voila! brand new season folks...show us the monaaaaay!".

100% agree. Luke talks about not being able to keep making more content, and then proceeds to lock us out of content THAT IS ALREADY MADE. Bungie has nothing but contempt for its players. Their entire game model is based on stringing players along as the deal gets worse and worse. Now we won't even get to play the DLCs we like??? To hell with that idea. What happened to all Luke's fine talk about only needing to buy the DLC content we wanted. As for the stupid user agreement, i don't care one bit what it says. If Bungie EVER wants another dime of my money, they need to do a complete 180. After telling Bungie 1000 times what we want, and having Luke only pay enough attention so he can disguise what they are doing better, I'm sick of that crap. Luke Smith's "State of the Game" is only to test the community, and see how much complete garbage we will buy.

7 답변작성자: Asylum 8/19/2019 2:40:42 PMTheyre basically going pay to win now because the games going F2P. Activiaion told bungo to pound sand and took the other 2 studios with them when they left so now bungo is dying for money in a very pathetic attmept to keep the business up and running so they dont have to get real jobs

I don't see the problem. Personally, whenever new content comes out, I play that instead of the old stuff. In fact, I rather dislike it when I have to (example) go play a forge for a tribute bounty. And if you are okay with Netflix, then you are okay with "renting content".
