I feel you. My mate, wanted recluse, we started the grind it was so wonderful at beginning that we had 4 win streak. Then that night we decided to stop because it was around 4am our time. Next day we continued the grind and guess what, bungie was like nope thats where you stop. I was fabled 2, i went back to heroic 3 because of their shit matchmaking. Me and my friend kept getting match made versus stacks 4 stacks 5 matches back to back. Then he went back to 0 right where he started. This is just bullshit and as people suggested. Just removed comp, its basically a dying mode because of how unfair and shit the matchmaking is. As people said, remove comp and bring back trails. For me i will never be touching comp again, i got mountain/recluse/luna's and revoker. Screw not forgotton what so ever. Thats my opinion on this mode, it has to be removed, and the matchmaking has to be fixed in shadow keep else your game flipped and you lost your players.

I got disconnected 3 times in a row and lost those matches when they immediately placed me back into the game. After I got revoker (probably the only pinnacle weapon I'll ever get from pvp) I honestly gave up on recluse and luna which is a shame because they were weapons I really wanted. It's that stupid fabled step. Literally I get more losses than wins. I'll have maybe 5 losses than a win. Lfg is just a bunch of thirsty jokers who want cash and probably will not guarantee you you're new guns. It annoys me. I get it that comp is ment for the best of the best but this isnt really comp it feels like quick play because I'm stuck with potatoes for teammates and then the enemy team is extremely coordinated. On a side note Nerf one eyed mask. That thing has too many benefits and is like the worm husk meta all over again.

I've solo queued comp a lot (most of my games, although I didn't play any comp last season) and this season was definitely the easiest. Wasn't even going for any rank (just Revoker) but ended up going over 10 game win streak. Most games were good but I did run into a couple of very laggy teams and one game had solos matched against a higher glory rank team. All games started full for me except one game where I got disconnected while flying in and I checked that the other team had won without any opponents at all. But that was propably connection issues as their match history didn't implicate any foul play. One tip I think that if the matchmaking takes a long time, it's either a mismatch and/or laggy match so I'd try to avoid waiting too long in the x/8 guardians found.

LOL at the people who complain about comp and want trials back. If you think comp is bad, you’re only going to see four stacks of OEM, striker titans. Once the first super starts, they will just keep stacking their supers.

The worst thing here is you can't even help your friend if he's way lower rank than you. If I am at 2100 and he is at 500, we will still be playing against people at 2100. Unless your mate is really good you're gonna lose. It sucks.
