If you don't subscribe to it that's your business no one cares about it. you want to sit there and think that we're defending certain weapons? no we're not we're telling people like you to stop whining about it because you guys do not make the game fun when you lessen the damage all across the board because you can't deal with it in one cherry picked scenario in PvP. You already admitted your whining about it okay? Learn to be better in Crucible. It's mid to short range that people use fusion rifles because no one cross maps with them. People don't even use fusion rifles correctly. all you need to do is stay outside of its range and blast them with other weapons that can reach him. Tthe issue with people in this community [b][i]like you[/i][/b] think that they could just walk in on any map use whatever you want in any scenario and think that you're going to have 100% success rate. You literally have people telling you that you are wrong. I can scroll down and see more than 5 telling you that they do not agree with your opinion. a bit of advice for you? Just because someone agrees with what you're saying doesn't mean that what you're saying is true or necessarily right. Never bring that up in a discussion as a means of authority. your three we ran out of medals is not indicative of you understanding how to deal with erentil. It's widely used because of the way the buffs are shifted. next expansion is going to change again that's how these games work. you sitting there stating the obvious that people are using things that are better is not going to do anything.

I'd be more inclined to agree that the gun needs to be adjusted if people weren't using other guns like Miss fit or not forgotten or Luna's howl or Lord of wolves or anything else. It's not the top gun in the meta. it's also not that controversial quite honestly. What's controversial right now is the current state of the game such as our solstice and what's going on in shadowkeep and how our players going to be able to play new light.

The whole premise is off. You sit there and talk about there's a necessity for variety yet there's no representation of white or blue weapons in Crucible. It's always the legendary and exotic. there is a plethora of variety when it comes to legendary weapons versus the exotics and you're only worried about one particular gun that seems to be killing you more often than any other gun by whining about nerfing that one gun and having bungee acquiesce to the part of the community that cries about nerfing. you now just took one more gun off that people want to use in the weapon pool. we don't want guns to be nerfed in the game unless they're super ridiculous. the worst thing that we've ever encountered in the meta was when Prometheus lens was basically one shotting people. Lord of wolves although it melts people it's still doing the same damage it's just at a lesser range but it's now the king of shotguns. there is nothing wrong with erentil. There is something wrong with how you interact with people shooting at you with erentil though

Erentil is too good at what it does and outperforms other weapons of the same class by large degree. That’s my complaint. Disagree as you will. On the Prometheus note, I’ll have to try that again too because somebody yesterday was deleting with it.

They aren’t as forgiving, nope.

But they do kill in one shot. So put yourself in a situation where you're going to kill the guy that's using erentil. Fun fact everybody that I see that uses erentil, pre charges the gun.

You’re really getting hung up on the “can’t beat” part. It’s totally beatable if you play it right. But it doesn’t mean it’s not problematic. Especially when there’s 6. It’s hard to maneuver yourself around each and every Erentil, which is a problematic part.
