Gambit sucks! So why did you make it a requirement for solstices of heroes armor?

I've done 30 for the armor so far and then stayed and got 200 more bow kills because I was that close to hush I can say with my expansive experience on gambit in the current meta it sucks donkey danglers professionally

Gambits a fun mode to me. But I understand. Instead of organic meaningful drops we get grind go here do that endless steps and boring missions. This is not content. This is crap. Meaningless and pointless. Its the illusion of content and worse they put in on schedule for us. A season pass of crap. You think year 3 will different. Heh

작성자: superluigi6968 8/10/2019 10:52:06 PMTBH my problem with the step isn't that it's "play some gambit bucko," it's that it's just "complete 10 gambit matches" Telling people to just participate is, IMO, bad quest design. As other people will attest, this is how you get AFK farmers. Maybe the objective could have been "get kills in gambit, Guardian kills are worth more," to promote actually playing Gambit. Whether that takes two games or ten is down to the player, but it's not as braindead as "just show up and be there at the end."

Because gambit failed hard. Bungie was convinced by the streamers during their summit last year that gambit was great and then all the streamers came back telling us all about this awesome new game mode. The majority of the players tried it, realized it was meh and moved on. Since gambit numbers suck, Bungie, instead of eating crow and admitting they made a miscalculation, are just forcing us to play it to make themselves less depressed at that fact.

5 답변They just take Way too long.... matches should be 7 minutes tops. Most matches take at least 15 minutes, then 3-5 min to load out of and into a new game. You are lucky if you squeeze in 4 matches an hour....

I've actually weirdly enjoyed it. I've not got any gambit related quests telling me to play a certain way and it doesn't really matter if I win or lose. Just playing it for fun has been quite refreshing to the point I've actually considered going for some of the pinnacle weapons.

the number of matches you join and either half or all the players just afk or all your teammates avoid touching motes and just fight over who gets to invade... I've seen people throw matches before but this has been hilariously bad. games that literally end to timers... I didn't even know gambit had match timers that end the match. wtf

2 답변I've said it before but they really need to avoid requirements that are just "complete matches". It encourages bad playstyles like just running round in circles while playing on your phone, instead they should've had a requirement to earn points like with the Gambit weekly bounty.

Its a part of the event bc solstice of heros is about the year as a whole and we had an entire season based around the cursed game mode. That is my assumption at least. I will say however, gambit is the most broken game mode in the game and even after changes in season of the drifter it is not fun. I have met only one guy that genuinely likes gambit in my entire destiny 2 career and I have 1330 hours (ik thats not impressive to the lot of you but im proud). They need to rework a shit ton of things to make gambit a playable game mode. I think changes to taken enemies in general need an overhaul, blockers need some tuning, invading is way too op idk if its 4 v 1 wall hacks are dumb and unnecessary. maybe show names then have them fade and every kill you get flashes names for a second. I just hate how you cant peak these guys bc they know when your going to do it bc they can see you across the map with their all seeing eye and a god roll hammerhead.
